It's past sundown, on the busy roads of where humans have settled down and technology has taken over, he hits me with a question, "hey, how would you describe her beauty?"
I remember all that I could do at that point of time is look at her, visualise her in my head whilst having her by my side, looking into my eyes and seeing her smile to the demons that reside in me, calming me down.
"Oh where do I start my friend, because if I could, I would relieve all the little moments that she and I shared over the course of time to the point where we are in at the moment. The eyes? They say it's a portal to the human soul. But her eyes share a deeper story with me, not about her soul but about reality. A reality she has lived in. And let me tell you, the transitions of reality that I see in her eyes are so strong yet so calm, it reminds you of how different we are from each other. Or do you want me to talk about her smile? No one has a perfect life. We are all broken, piled up into a mess. But her smiles makes me realise why I have a sense of appreciation for life even if it's not perfect. Art does not exist within what couldn't be, but what could have been. Her smile reminds me that horcruxes and fairies exist, but in the beauty of our own imagination.
Or do you want me to speak about her presence my friend? Do you remember the essence of what home feels like? We are all far away from home, a place where we hid our deepest secrets with our only companion, a wet pillow at 2am's, to when there were celebrations when we were gifted to this world that we coexist in. Do you remember that warm embrace you feel wrapped around you on a chilly Sunday morning when you think about home? Her aura and presence reminds me of what could have been home for me, and how lucky I am to be feeling home at this moment.
Her beauty is infinite.
She makes me feel infinite.
And I pray and hope, she and I could be infinite."
"Can you describe her beauty?"He repeats, which brings me back to reality.
And an "eeh" is all I could muster.
