#motivationmonday I believe that the true joy in your fitness journey comes from exploring all of the amazing movement possibilities available to the human body. It means you need to be willing to dig deeper into every exercise and not just overlook it because it's "basic" or it doesn’t film or photograph well for your next Instagram post. The step-up is a compound exercise that works several lower-body muscles. It is a good strength exercise since it mimics a real-life movement, making it more functional than other lower-body strength exercises. The step-up has several variations, so you can include it in your lower-body program regularly and still keep your routine fresh. foot. Step-ups primarily work your quadriceps, the muscles in the front of your thighs, and involve both your knee and hip joints. However, other muscles involved include your glutes, calves and hamstrings, which assist in the movement. Even your lower back and abs muscles get involved, as they act as stabilizers to help you maintain proper posture as you execute the movement. Simply start with standing in front of an aerobic step, bench or a plyometric box with your feet hip-width apart. Place your right foot on the step. Push through your right foot and propel your body up until your left foot lands on the platform next to your right foot. Pause for a count, then slowly lower your left foot to the ground, followed by your right foot. Step up again, beginning with your left foot. Of you want to challenge yourself hold some dumbbells or a barbell to add resistance, increase the height of the step and/ or march that opposite leg at the top of the step. Idag kan jag säga att vila är väldigt viktigt för träningen, prestationen, orkan osv. Både fysisk vila men också psykologisk. Jag har varit så spänd, stressad, speedad i över flera månader pga olika aspekter och även när jag gick ut så satt jag tänkte på min tenta eller jobbpasset om 2 dagar... This superset🔥🔥🔥 15 barbell hip thrusts with 5-10 banded hip abductions at the top of movement (with a @mbslingshot hip circle😍) 👉 Followed with the same movement but with just body weight! . . It’s really important that your body functions as a unit, making sure that your core stays braced, your spine stays neutral, and there are no jerky movements.  It’s better to do this properly at a lower weight, than to use a higher weight and risk an injury. . . ♦️Position yourself on the floor with your shoulders and shoulder blades against the bench. ♦️Roll the barbell toward you, over your legs until it’s directly over your hips. ♦️Take a deep breath in, then exhale all the air out through your mouth and brace your core. ♦️Drive through your heels and squeeze your glutes to lift your hips. ♦️When you approach the top of the movement, finish the lift by contracting your glutes hard and pushing your hips forward. Hold this position for a couple seconds and do a few hip abductions by pushing your knees out against the band. ♦️Make sure you do not overextend the lower back. ♦️Lower the weight under control keeping tension on the glutes. . . These 6 exercises will be hitting your legs and glutes from different angles. . Tehokkailla liikkeillä lyhytkin jumppa on monipuolinen. Tässä kolmen liikkeen nopea Kesäjumppa vol 1. Lämmittele ensin 5min. joustavin venytyksin ja rennosti videon liikkeitä testaillen. Tee sitten kiertoharjoitteluna 2-4 kierrosta. Keskivartalon tuki aktiiviseksi joka liikkeessä! 1. Askelkyykky sivulle 2-askelta edestakaisin. Paina käsiä tiukasti koko ajan yhteen ja liuta ylös päin kyykkäysvaiheessa. Rentouta kädet päässä. Toista 2-5x. 2. Askelkyykky taakse (polven nostolla tai ilman). Toista 5-10x/puoli. 3. Mini whole body circuit/finisher 💪 Add this to your next workout: ▫️combined pull up leg raises ▫️single leg pushups ▫️sumo squats 🤸‍♂️ You can do single leg pistol squats instead of sumos to make it harder (wished I’d have done that now in hindsight 🙈) 🤸‍♂️ To make it easier you can do leg or knee raises without the pull-up or do jump pull-ups with slowly lowering. . Make this like they say about Kellogg’s.. “a part of your complete breakfast”. Roasted almonds contain the good kind of fat which is polyunsaturated and monounsaturated in thereof it lowers your cholesterol. So take it out of someone who knows how to atleast take nutritions seriously. I may from time to time post my foodie pictures that aren’t always the way to eat but I also eat very lean and healthy foods. Bass Fish 🐠 fillet sautéed in healthy olive oil cut in to square pieces to preserve its freshness. 1️⃣Triceps exercise with pulley😮: Pull back all the way till you feel the burn on the tris. Oh and trust me you will feel it! This can work on any machine that has a pulley but lower weights are always first, work smart not hard people. Don’t need no hospital visits in the middle of the night so now let’s get it !!🏅👊🏼
