Last set/exercise of a chest and back workout. Still got 80x8 for a couple sets of flat bench which is pretty damn good for me 🤷🏽‍♂️. Hopefully can get a little more in if I wasn’t pre-worked from the other exercise. One thing people always forget with bench (and basically any exercise) is to keep those shoulders back and together, and also keep the elbows slightly tucked at a angle to put less pressure on your rotator cuffs. Can you still lose body fat and go out to eat?! 🧐 . The short answer is yes. . If you are very serious about losing body fat and have a certain “timeline,” I would recommend tracking your food first so you are aware of how MUCH you are CONSUMING. I would suggest to keep going out to eat at a minimum if you are just starting out your fitness journey. If you have been tracking for a while and/or are very familiar with your body & what you need to do, then you will be able to go out to eat and see progress. . Tracking your food first is important to really understand the nutritional value in food (how many macronutrients and micronutrients are in each food) and to identify what are YOUR maintenance & deficit calories. I have heard many people say that they eat “healthy,” but they are not losing weight. However, when they actually weigh and track their food, they actually are consuming a lot of calories of their “healthy” foods. . Note: I wouldn’t recommend tracking for everyone, especially for people who will be “obsess” with the numbers. Also, I wouldn’t recommend to track your food forever. It’s just really helpful in the beginning to understand the nutritional value in food and your body as well. Also, you don’t need to track your food to see progress as well. It’s just a matter of being consistent and doing what works for you! 🙃 . Since I just recently started my mini cut to get ready for my wedding, I am going to go out to eat 1-2 times a week at the most. I usually “eyeball” how much I consume when I go out to eat since I am been tracking for couple years now. Mirando atrás y no me dan si no ganas de agradecer profundamente a Dios 🙌🏻 🙇🏻‍♂️ por mantenerme en vigencia con mis entrenamientos de calistenia, cuando inicie fue aquí en este parque donde a duras penas podía hacer unos fondos y algunas dominadas con cierta dificultad. Day 191. I hit legs twice today and focused on my squats this morning. I need to work on keep my knees from caving in and leaning to one side. I will go back to the drawing board and fix these issues. My outdoor run I had my 10lbs weight vest and stayed around an 8 minute pace. IGNORE THE SCALE! Wait, what?? This is exactly why sometimes you need to completely ignore the scale, between the photo on the left (Day 0) and the photo on the right (Day 54), I’ve actually gained about 5 lbs. It isn’t always about losing, but rather about what I’m gaining. 🔥What you didn't know about the one arm row🔥 (By @dancudes) - The one arm row is a great unilateral pulling movement to develop the back and biceps. It is incredibly beneficial for developing strength and can be even more beneficial in developing a lagging body part (e.g. your left side of your lat and your left biceps). Other muscles used include the trees major of the rotator cuff, the rhomboids and the shoulder. Furthermore, the movement helps grip strength as well as core strength as you have to prevent over rotation of the torso. As you can see, the one arm row is a great exercise that anyone can and should do, especially those looking to build serious muscle and strength in the back and biceps. It may even be easier to perform than the barbell row, making it more beginner friendly. That being said, don't mistaken it being more "beginner friendly" as only for beginners as intermediate and advanced athletes and gymers can make serious gains with it.
