Mirror mirror leaning on my wall, make me look muscular please...that's really all. :p Meant to be my rest day today but sometimes I really don't feel like I need to rest. okay it's a rule of thumb to generally rake a rest day every couple to few days of workout consecutively. However I'm a believer in the days when you actually actively don't feel the NEED to rest, don't. Your muscles aren't aching and you're feeling full of bubbles from life, be active. That's what they call active rest days. I intended to just work on isolating my quads and hamstrings with medium weights and higher reps however life had it that my energy struck hard and I ended up box jumping, battle roping and smashing out isolated quads and hamstring exercises. I feel darn fantastic and glad I chose to workout instead. In saying all this, rest days are extremely important. What I say above is not say you should workout every single day without relaxing your muscles in between however every so often it's okay to think and feel "I don't want to rest.
