Days 39,40,41/80 Iโ€™m going to be honest. I havenโ€™t lost too much weight with this program. However, I can still see differences everyday, mentally and physically. Iโ€™m torn on whether or not I should be happy or sad that Iโ€™m already halfway through this program! I love Autumnโ€™s spunky-ness and her encouraging words everyday. Iโ€™m getting shoulder, ab, and booty gains what what!! Hopefully the next 40 days I can progress even more! Donโ€™t quit on this program. Those of you who are halfway done like me... KEEP GOING. I find front squats much more natural/comfortable for me than back squats and using the smith machine allows me to stabilize and really focus on the targeted muscle. ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

That was a really strange and hard workout for me. Not so much because it is week six but because it was legit silent. โœŠ This little timid sales girl and looking and feeling the way you want. Moral below... (fast side note: hit my macros 100% and ate chick-fil-a ๐Ÿ˜‹ So Iโ€™m flexing fueled by some nuggs)... . So I own a gym. Iโ€™m bombarded with sales reps a lot wanting me to stock their stuff. And yesterday a girl walked in with some goodies... . I could tell the second she stepped out the car she was a new sales rep. She walked in. Nervous. Timid. Scared to cold sell me her product. Hereโ€™s the lesson as it reflects to looking and feeling different: . >> SHE DIDN'T BELIEVE SHE COULD SELL ME THE STUFF, SO SHE DIDN'T << ... and so the same true holds for our bodies: . >> If you donโ€™t believe in yourself to look and feel different, you lost before you even stepped out the door... . - Maybe sheโ€™s heard no a million times. - Maybes sheโ€™s fresh in the game of sales and doesnโ€™t realize sheโ€™ll have to take some licks to learn how to handle obstacles. - Maybe she doesnโ€™t believe in the product. . Whatever it is, itโ€™s her underlying belief keeping her from success. I barely had to say let me see your packet and Iโ€™ll get back to you before she ran out the door. She came in expecting to hear no. And so is true for our health... . - Maybe youโ€™ve tried a million diets and workouts that havenโ€™t worked for ya. - Maybe you are fresh into making a new change. - ...maybe you donโ€™t believe you can actually do it... . Whatever the case may be, itโ€™s your belief that will be the reason for success (or not). Iโ€™ve seen drastic changes in someoneโ€™s health in the first 30 days. Iโ€™ve seen some take 2+ years and now they are a walking inspiration to others around them. The shared trait? They didnโ€™t quit, because they believed and kept showing up. They shifted their belief about what they could do. No matter how hard... Craziest part? . I liked her product. Before she took off faster than Usain Bolt, she left me a sample. ๐Ÿ”ฅDaily Brent - 225๐Ÿ”ฅ Todayโ€™s quick workout is another in a group that I like for rotational athletes (golf, tennis, baseball, softball, etc.). - ๐ŸŒŠWait, did you say athlete?!? - ๐Ÿ”ฅI did. - ๐ŸŒŠThis isnโ€™t for me then! - ๐Ÿ”ฅWait! ย It is for you, especially if you engage in rotational activities. - ๐ŸŒŠLow intensity movements like these prepare you body to move in similar ways as you move to get in position to swing your racquet. ย Use movement to loosen up tight muscles and learn to control your joints and how they move. - ๐Ÿ”ฅThis combination will help with the external hip muscles and give you a nice diagonal torso stretch. ย Letโ€™s try it! - ๐Ÿ”น๏ธEquipment - none! ๐Ÿ”น๏ธCircuit Side lying clam shells - 20 reps (side 1) Side lying straight leg rainbows - 20 reps (side 1) Side lying chest opener stretch - 5 reps + hold (side 1) - ๐ŸŒŠLie on your side so that your hips and shoulders are perpendicular to the floor, knees bent and stacked, like the fetal position. ย Make sure, however, that your spine is long as you lie on your side. Then, start lifting your top knee toward the ceiling as the rest of your body remains still. - - ๐Ÿ”ฅYour foot may want to lead โ€ฆ donโ€™t let it. - ๐ŸŒŠYour top hip may want to roll back โ€ฆ donโ€™t let it. - ๐Ÿ”ฅThis exercise is as much about the parts of your body that arenโ€™t moving as the external rotation at the hip joint. ย So, can you move your leg through this range of motion without moving the rest of your body? - ๐ŸŒŠSame idea with rainbows. ย Straighten your top leg, then slowly, trace a rainbow with your foot. ย I like to focus on my heel more than my toe to keep the glute active. One of the original newbie tricep workouts. Been doing these since the beginning. I always do drop sets when I do this specific exercise and itโ€™s usually at the end of my workouts. I find it saves time and makes it way more intense๐Ÿ”ฅ โ€ข โ€ข Donโ€™t be afraid to add some drop sets into your workouts. Really intensifies any exercise and gets your heart pumping. Also when youโ€™re in a rush itโ€™s easy to sneak a few drop sets in and make it a quick yet effective workout๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ โ€ข โ€ข Super setting is also super helpful for muscle growth. Havenโ€™t been doing too much lately but Iโ€™m definitely going to start implementing it into my workouts.
