Whole30 day two! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For approximately 80% of my lunches during a Whole30 (or anytime) I eat leftovers 👌🏼 Makes my day so much easier to only cook one meal! I have been loosely following the cookbook ‘Cook Once Eat All Week’ by @fedandfit and it’s made my food prep even easier. I also happen to practice intermittent fasting (which I don’t necessarily recommend if you’re new to fasting AND Whole30) so I literally only have to cook one meal per day. Too easy. 🙌🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For dinner I had southwest stuffed sweet potatoes. 🌟I WAS SKEPTICAL ONCE TOO🌟 I used to always say, we do not need supplements because we get enough nutrients & enzymes from fruits, vegetables and berries without needing to "add" anything else. We get enough Vitamin C from Oranges, enough Vitamin D from the Sun, enough Calcium from Milk and enough anti-oxidants from Chocolate😏 If you don't have enough of anything in your body, then you purely aren't eating enough wholefoods, right?!🤷‍♀️ When Juice Plus+ was introduced into my life, I was at my prime. Ate LOTS of greens, veggies, fruits, lean meats, exercised often and rested just as much. But my argument was, ok that's all well and good but why did I always feel like crap? Why did I always get sick? Why am I waking up feeling like a zombie? Where's my focus? Why was my heart palpitating everyday? Why was I seeing my doctor about low red blood cells and close to anemic? Why did I feel my body in a constant state of stress?😴😫😭 At 26 years old, something had to give and there was no way I was about to go on prescribed pharmaceutical medications... 5 days in (I'm not lying guys!), my energy was through the roof, I was buzzing. My sleep, solid & waking up refreshed. After 1 month, my digestion was up to speed and bloat was gone. My attention & focus was back and my mind was no longer drifting. 🙌🙌 After 2 years, it's all the same as well as strong immune system - those who see me almost everyday, when was the last time I was sick?! NEVER! Heart palpitations, no more and my haemoglobin levels have stayed consistent in the high 130 - low 140 range. 🥳🥳 Yes, I was skeptical once too. So if you're skeptical, I hear you. If you think it's a scam, I hear you. If you think it's just complete nonsense, I hear you too. But what if you gave it just 4 months? What if this was the game changer for you? What if this worked? Final verdict on the lamb burger & feta arugula meal box by @amazon that I purchased from @wholefoods today: . . Over all the experience was easy. Everything was boxed and easy to unpack. All ingredients were in the box. All ingredients were fresh. The step-by-step instructions were easy to understand for anyone with any level of cooking experience. I also found it easy to include/exclude items to modify the recipe to my taste (see my bacon and fried egg mods on the burger 😂). . . As far as the taste, I surprisingly really enjoyed the salad. The fresh cucumber, tomato, dill, mint, red onion and feta were a delicious combination. I opted OUT of using the green olives, and also used a garlic infused EVO. The lamb by itself was good, however, I personally was not a fan of the shawarma spice provided in the box. Next time, I’ll likely use my own seasonings. . . I’ll definitely purchase this kit again for my lazy dinner days. Perhaps next time I’ll even get to try it with the brioche buns! at D.C\Maryland\Virginia

Today I got my Maryland license. Cam and I went early (like they tell you to) and still ended up waiting over an hour 🤷‍♀️ The craziest part was that their credit card machines were down and I didn’t have my checkbook or enough cash on me. Fortunately, a v nice woman heard me asking if there was an atm nearby and loaned me $20, which seriously made my day 🙏 Losing my spot in line and going to an atm with a cranky toddler was not high on my priority list so I am SO thankful for her, for loaning that amount of money to a complete stranger. I am of course going to pay her back, but life is crazy, my friends, and there are still plenty of good people in this world ☀️✨ and I can’t wait to pay it forward the next chance I get. Just a long winded way of saying that I was looking forward to eating al fresco tonight and this zucchini mexican street corn dip is on the agenda! Breakfast for the next three days ✅ Flaxseed wraps with spinach, scrambled eggs, a slice of turkey and cheese. I always eat my breakfast at my desk when I get to work and these are so easy to grab in the morning and reheat. You can throw these in the freezer and take them out the night before. Just wrap in a damp paper towel and then microwave for a minute. Voila! Easy delicious breakfast wrap.

Im sorry, did you say your sick of your gross green smoothies, that taste like dirt, that cover your kitchen with goo and dishes, and you’re really not sure what nutritional value is in it but you heard it’s “ #goodforyou”?! I got #news it’s not that amazing, and each time you make them, it’s different! . Don’t worry this was me too a few years ago. I thought I was doing the right thing, but I really wasn’t feeling any better, I wasn’t getting any results, but I thought maybe I’ll stick to it, and things will change! I was so wrong! I kept putting on the weight, and my kitchen was a mess, I had no time and I didn’t know what to do! 🍴SPAGHETTI SQUASH BOLOGNESE🍴 ——————————————— • 1 medium spaghetti squash • 1 lb lean ground turkey • 1 onion, chopped • vegetables of choice (zucchini, brussel sprouts, and broccoli do the trick) • diced tomatoes • extra virgin olive oil • @traderjoes Everything But the Bagel seasoning • cheese (optional) ——————————————- • Put the spaghetti squash in the microwave for 10 minutes, then cut it in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Now, put it in the oven for 45 minutes at 400°F • In a pan, sauté the chopped onions with the olive oil and then add the lean ground turkey. there’s just no good way to make this look more appetizing but it’s a winner! this is fried cauli rice with the leftover instant pot kalua pork (see highlights) I made last night. ▪️I used the frozen cauli rice risotto (w bits of asparagus & mushroom. swipe ➡️). heated it in hot cast iron skillet w avo oil, seasoned w pink salt/pepper, onion/garlic powder and cooked until brown and crispy on med-hi heat. ▪️then I tossed in the pork and let it brown as well. .................................................................... so good. asher said all it was missing was some bits of egg and he’s totally right!! he was almost motivated enough to add some but not quite.
