Take your time and compare the nutrition. You see, when we say wheat bread is better, we aren't saying so because the calories are a lot less... Far from it. As you can see they are very similar.
What makes wheat bread healthier than white bread: - More fiber. This helps you stay fuller for longer, great for your digestive system and helps regulate the rate at which your body absorbs carbs, helping to stabilize blood sugar. - More nutritious. Because the flour is a lot less processed, a lot of the vitamins and minerals from the wheat plant are preserved. For the white flour, it's lost during processing. Nowadays, most manufacturers fortify the end product with some vitamins and minerals, so it's not totally dead, lol.
