WEIGHT GAIN ANXIETY . Sometimes life gets crazy or you lose motivation to push yourself during your workout, or to even workout at all. Sometimes you just need to take a step away from fitness for a little while. . When I take some time off of the gym, it is usually accompanied by weight gain or muscle loss anxiety. Even if it’s just a week, I find myself worrying incessantly about losing the progress I have made. . Every time this happens, I have to remind myself constantly that, no, you won’t just lose all of your work. It took me over 3 years to get to the point where I am at, and it would take me more than a week to lose it. . This is a lot easier said than done. Even though I know that it is perfectly fine, even healthy sometimes, to take a break from working out, every day I take off is still a battle with myself. That is all it is though; an internal battle with yourself. In situations like that, your body probably isn’t really changing, your mind is just making you think it is. . Body image and weight gain anxiety are both mental games. Definitely not easy ones, but my hope is to one day get to a point where I can be winning the game at least 95% of the time. DO YOUR CRAVINGS CONTROL YOU? 🤨 Mine sure used to. I used to try and eat as clean as humanly possible; then once I craved something, I would fight the urge until I gave in. But once I gave in, there was no going back from there—which always ended in a stop at Taco Bell and me living in inevitable disgust with myself. But there really is a better way. Throw the rules out. Seriously. Everything you think you know about dieting...throw it out. Because if eating—literally the thing we all must do to survive—is stressing you out.......you’re doing it wrong. The first step is to LET GO. Let go of the expectations you have of yourself to be perfect—you’ll never meet them. Let go of the expectations you have of yourself to eat clean all the time—no meal will ever be clean enough. And quit being so damn hard in yourself for being human. Then, you have to learn to FORGIVE YOURSELF as quickly and as painlessly as possible. The only way to do better is to keep trying, and the only thing stopping you from that is the guilt that you’re carrying from continually not keeping promises to yourself. Forgive. Move on. Try again. And one day, you’ll look back and realize that everything is different and you forgive yourself for different things than you used to. That’s called growth. at Louisville, Kentucky

Yesterday, I got my bra size measured for the first time in a year 😬 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And let me tell you.... there were some unexpected changes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One: my band size went up a FULL size ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And... my cup size went down TWO full sizes 😱 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I thought about it... it makes sense. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My back has GROWN in the past year, I switched birth controls, and my body has settled at a comfortable weight, slightly lower than previously. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But this logic didn’t stop me from at first being shocked... and disappointed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was happy with my boob size... and now all of a sudden that’s been taken away from me 😢 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But that disappointment.. didn’t last long. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just because my ta tas are smaller... doesn’t mean I’m any less smart. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Any less worthy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Any less attractive. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Any less.... me.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Boob size; like pant size, clothing size, weight... are all just metrics to measure what fits us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏻I was always taught... bigger boobs were better. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏻And that... smaller clothing sizes, and lower weights were ‘good’. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❌But these things... they aren’t facts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ FAR more fulfilment comes out of accepting what we look like, rather than scrutinizing over what push-up bra to buy, or how to lower the number on the scale. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❌Some things are out of our control. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏻Because at different points in your life... your body changes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏻And self love will 🌈ONLY🌈 come when we can accept that. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏻You may become comfortable with your current self; your ‘ideal version’ of yourself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And then all of a sudden... it will change on you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💕But that DOESNT make you any less worthy.... any less attractive... any less smart, amazing, funny... or any less you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Have you ever had an experience like this before? 👇🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #healthybyhannahb at Miami Beach, Florida

‼️How I lost 40lbs and kept it off‼️ . Let me first make something very clear.....this did not happen overnight....but the first 15-20 lbs I lost I did completely wrong and it took WAAAAY too long. . In 2013 I realized I didn't recognize myself anymore. I felt sluggish and uncomfortable in my own skin, so I decided to make a change....but like I said, I didn't make the right changes. . ❌How I lost the first 15-20lbs❌ (THE WRONG WAY) ***It took over 3 years**** 🚫I did low carb all the time 🚫I redistricted my calories 🚫I did hours of cardio 🚫I got on the scale daily 🚫I had bad habits that I was enabling, not correcting . I was slowly seeing results, but it was so tough and frustrating. I kept plateauing and the emotional roller coaster was even worse. . ✅How I lost the last 20lbs✅ (With TRIM Boot Camp) ****only took 3 months**** ✔️I did my boot camps carb cycling schedule ✔️I started lifting weights ✔️I paired my cardio with the right nutrition on the right days ✔️I upped my calories with an extra 700 A DAY ✔️I got on the scale once every 3-4 months to adjust my macros ✔️I leaned on my accountability group big time to motivate me to break my bad habits . When I started the TRIM method and was creating it, I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. . I would actually go to bed at night and think "I had so many carbs today....there is no way this is going to work." . OR . I would leave the gym after resistance training and think "I only got in 10 minutes of cardio....I could have done more" . This is why I connect so much with my ladies when it comes to TRIM. I was a beginner too a while ago and I know how hard it is to mentally do something different. . So ask yourself this question....how long have you been doing your current routine, and how effective is it really? . 🇺🇸 Nothing is more painful and more harmful than depriving yourself of love, as in running away from it, as in repudiating it, as in not acknowledging it. You know the drill :) . I’ve learnt to recognize this in other people since I’m an expert at autoflagelation myself. . We all want to create something, to make something out of this human experience we’re having. I realised several years ago that the ultimate creation is the legacy you leave through your own body, mind and soul. And one can only share that inner creation through love. . Yesternight, after this full moon meditation, I had this intense feeling of calling the people I deeply felt for to let them know what a grandiose legacy they left in my being, just by being who they are and by embracing me for who I am. . 💕CONNECTION 💕 . Humans crave connection. Meaningful relationships. Positive energy exchange. . It’s true what they say... you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. . Through my life I have made major shifts in the people i surround myself with. As I evolved and grew into the woman I wanted to be, I found that some connections and relationships simply did not serve and they slowly dissolved. At the time it was incredibly sad and confusing, but now I am so grateful for it allowed me the space to welcome new connections and relationships to be formed. . Sometimes we feel obliged to put our energies into connections and relationships that ultimately do not serve us... mostly because we have had them for so long or we are related in some way. At the end of the day, relationships that don’t allow you to feel and be your best most authentic self... are relationships that will hold you back in some way. . Be surrounded by people who inspire you, who support you or simply light you up when you are together. . Don’t allow anyone to dull you light. 💁🏾‍♀️ What you NEED TO KNOW before hiring a fitness coach...⁣ ⁣ Working out can be dangerous.⁣ ⁣ If you don’t know proper form, how much weight to use, how much time to spend, when it’s safe to progress to the next level - you can develop bad posture, have an injury, overtrain the body, and slow/stop progress 📉.⁣ ⁣ Being able to perform an exercise the correct way is what will get you results. Whether you want to lose fat overall, grow your booty🍑, or “tone up”💪🏽.⁣ ⁣ It’s important to work with a coach who has this knowledge, as well as knowing how to properly progress you in order to keep challenging your body so you can keep seeing results - and avoid what I mentioned earlier. This is why being certified is important.⁣ ⁣ 🤓I researched A TON when I began learning about exercise.⁣ ⁣ Yet, this still wasn’t enough to help me build a workout program that was safe, effective, & that progressed as I got better.
