PANCAKES DULCES 🥞(La versión salada la pondremos en los stories) ✔️gluten free ✔️vegan friendly INGREDIENTES: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1/2 taza de harina de linaza 1/2 taza de hojuelas de avena (*Pura!! Yo prefiero comprar a granel, pero si compras envasado fíjate que no tenga trigo, cebada y/o centeno, si no tienes problema con el gluten, entonces todo bien!) 1 tza de agua (o un poco más) 1/2 cucharadita de canela en polvo 1 pizca de clavo en polvo Aceite de girasol ~~~ *Opcional: la chía previamente remojada es una buena alternativa para que le de consistencia, sin embargo la misma linaza hace ese efecto. ⚠️Si no eres vegano puedes ponerle 1 huevo y usar ghee para freír. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PROCEDIMIENTO: Mezclar todos los ingredientes en un bowl, excepto el aceite.Calienta una sartén antiadherente a fuego medio. Verter suficiente masa para hacer un panqueque muy fino, distribuida uniformemente (aprox una cuchara). Añadir un poco de aceite o ghee alrededor del borde de la tortilla. Dejar cocer por un rato hasta que los bordes comiencen a levantar. Continúa cocinando hasta que los bordes del panqueque queden ligeramente dorados y la parte superior se vea seca y agrietada antes de girar el panqueque. Cocinar el otro lado durante 30 segundos o hasta que esté dorado. By now many of you have seen the viral video of the auntiji (aunt/ lady) who told a group of girls that they “deserved to be raped” for wearing short dresses. As a response to #auntyjiapologise a platform not afraid to speak up and stand against it @sayfty partnered with a group of advertisers to create a campaign highlighting the issue of VICTIM BLAMING + rape in Indian society. The campaign “super sanskari saree” shows that rape happens regardless of what you are wearing and the way to prevent is through education and empowerment . A woman can be butt naked in my opinion if that’s what she desires to do, and in a healthy society— a man would go about his business without harassing her. Unfortunately labeling and commenting on a woman’s attire and bodies is something that’s rife in all cultures and sadly highly supported by other women as well. That kind of mentality is deep rooted and ingrained in us across all backgrounds. To evolve and free yourselves of that kind of thinking requires inner work and some serious reflection as to where are these judgmental opinions are coming from. If you’re a believer in this then I’d like to tell you a little story about Varsova beach in Mumbai that was cleaned up in 3 years and the result, turtle egg hatching that had not happened in over 30 years, all because one man decided not to listen to everyone and believed that he could make an impact. Afroz Shah saw the state of the trash piled beach and rather than admitting defeat and standing around idly feeling helpless, he decided to start picking up the pieces of trash. My grandmother had an intense self care routine. Not only was what she put on her face so important, she also was mindful of what she put in her mouth. In a time when food choices weren't "chic" she knew some foods helped her and some foods hurt her. . She had this down AND raised three daughters, and owned businesses when women weren't often owning businesses. . I didn't understand all of this when I was a little girl, but I get it now! I see her as someone to emulate. She made self care an everyday routine. Home manicures, facials and extra rest were her go-to's on the weekend.
