TRUE? . Well this is mine. And I know I'm not alone. What exactly is my highest potential? . I certianly don't have all the answers for myself but it's a lot easier to see my dream of wanting this for my kids. But what is it that I really want for them? Success? What is that anyway? An Engineer or Doctor if I was a true persian parent but jokes aside, what we all truly want for our kids is their happiness. . For me it has required to really be present with myself. Get uncomfortable. Feel the lonliness, dig deep, and say what am I made of? Where are my gifts? talents? What am I unquiely really good at? . My superficial answers are I'm a good DOCTOR, no scratch that, HEALER no scrath that, MOTHER, no. None of those resonate deeply. It's just my ego talking. I used to think if I had a best-seller book, or was famous and well-known and influenced people internationally that I would be reaching my highest potential but I realize that that's all ego too. . What if fulfilling your highest potential wasn't asking what is it that you're NOT doing. What if it was undoing everything you've been domesticated to learn and believe about yourself and your highest potential was just to be YOU. The raw you that speaks her truth? That has fun. That doesn't care what people think. That just feels JOY like a little kid that has no care in the world. . How can we be that carefree fun loving joyful kid again? Don't focus on being BETTER or MORE Focus on seeing the good that's been in you from the start. Focus on BEING you. . Don't doubt yourself. You are more than enough. You are capable. When some people hear posture or body alignment, their first thoughts are the back. However, there’s more than just the back, most of the time the attention needs to be focused on feet and hips_ Any movement such as standing, sitting, walking and or running with your ankles rolled out or in, or with your feet pointed toe out or toe in can cause muscle imbalance, but it might not be your feet that hurt as a result_ There’s a good chance that instead of foot pain the pain or injury will be at your knees, hips or lower back!_ Take notice of how you’re standing next time while in then shower and see whether your feet point inwards or out. Or if you find the soles of your shoes are diminishing more so from the inside. These things will tell you about your gait and your posture_ Changing small habits and being mindful of how the mechanics of your feet are working can have big benefits to your posture and body alignment👣

I’ll probably elaborate more as I get through the book but so far I would highly recommend it. ... In line with my fundraising campaign to help fight diabetes in Fiji, I thought I would shine some light on this disease. TYPE 2 DIABETES is a worldwide health issue, and is affecting more people at younger ages than ever before. It is described as a lifestyle disease due to the risk factors attributed with its development: lack of physical activity, unhealthy eating habits, smoking and overweight. Other risk factors include genetics, older age and those with co-morbid conditions such as cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure or PCOS. SYMPTOMS of Type 2 Diabetes can include: ~ Excessive or unusual thirst or hunger ~ Increased frequency in passing urine ~ Fatigue and/or lethargy, dizziness ~ Blurred vision ~ Slow healing wounds, itching or skin infections If you’ve been experiencing symptoms like this and haven’t had it investigated, I would recommend checking in with a health practitioner! NEXT I will explain what’s happening in the body when someone has Type 2 Diabetes, and what sugar has to do with it all 🍩
