Friday workout 🏋️‍♀️🏃‍♀️ think my face and demeanour say it all about how I felt about working out today. I have got seriously bad leg doms and they are now worse after that. Ill be regretting this workout later on. Anyhoo I managed a 10 min incline walk then a 20 min run, followed by 20 mins on the bike. CORTISOL, that hormone that kills your testosterone levels, fellas!!! If you have a stressful job (like me), ordinary sleeping habits, excessive cardio with your workouts, or other life stresses, then your cortisol levels may be too high. Cortisol has the opposite effect to testosterone in that it breaks down tissue (catabolic). For male athletes, Vitamin C will keep testosterone levels high by supporting a lower ratio of cortisol to testosterone. Anywhere between 500mg to 3000mg per day seems to be the popular range. Give it a go. What's the worst that can happen. I've been taking four of these a day as a test. I love that little burst of orange juice flavour as I chew them. Motivation: My motivation goes up and down drastically! both Fitness and career wise. I haven't been hitting goals in either area and am deflated from perseverance. 1. Clean your space. Living space, work space or creative space... just clean it. This will help clear your head space. 2. Surround yourself with like-minded people who can uplift, motivate and stimulate new ways to approach a situation. 3. Find your 'weight lifter'. Something that will realise any stress or worry. For me that's painting and listening to music.(my carpet is covered in paint rn but oh well 🙂) at Brentwood, UK
