8 weeks ago, I thought I’d set up a challenge for myself; to attend as many F45 classes and eat cleaner (but not cut out anything). During my body scan I was worried I hadn’t lost much body fat % or that there wouldn’t be much of a change in my before and after photos. I’m so surprised with the changes both physically and internally! I’ve managed to drop 4% body fat and increase muscle mass whilst maintaining the same weight. I’m just so happy with how much more stronger I am and the increased stamina! These are a few of the things I’ve learnt along the way: 1. Early morning sessions! As much as it is a pain to wake up at 5am do it because you start your day with more energy and don’t have to think about going after work and it lets you do all those social things in the evenings. 2. Go! Even when you’re feeling slugish and lethargic just go because you’ll feel better afterwards and you’re not going to change staying at home. 3. Don’t completely cut out any food. I’ve managed to have plenty of treats and still obtain results plus following a strict diet can be demotivating and you’re more likely to lose track. 4. Respect yourself enough to make change and allow your body to perform at its peak by working out at least 5 times weekly. sooo seeing alot of transformation posts and the respect they get and comments of true dedication and hard work pays off. But have you ever tipped the scale to see what it takes to maintain a figure and physique earning peoples' respect and compliments? I have never been overweight(with the exception of gaining alot during my 2 pregnancies) always did sports,trained,obsessed about eating healthy and then binge eat and go punish myself again in the gym and then feeling so exhausted the only thing to lift my mood is eating again just to feel guilty and go train it all off again. Yes...that is a battle some of us have to fight. the constant battle of training your ass off sometimes without seeing ANY change whatsoever even the opposite effectof what you are trying to achieve.
