💕 5 rep PR with multiple distraction overhead squats. My friend tried a snatch with one strap because he thinks he’s more fit than me and being the competitor I am I took that as a challenge so I loaded the bar with weight on only one side, put band distraction on the other, elevated only one heel with one shoe, and put a 50lb chain on my neck. That’s 4 distractions in one movement dude; I’m twice the athlete you are...shotsfired. All intimidating rhetoric and personal business aside, this movement is phenomenal for the hips and core if you can manage to find a way not to get hurt. I put this movement at a low risk level for the elite athletes we have here at kibblefit but some people might struggle with this many distractions in one movement. I recommend starting with one distraction; for example only putting weight on one side of the bar. Then you can work your way up to complex movements like these. If you want to ignore our expert opinion though, go ahead and challenge your friend to see who can execute a movement with the most distractions. 👉🏻9 THINGS TO HELP YOU STOP OVEREATING 😏 Post competing for a time I struggled with episodes of binging and overeating, it was a stressful and confusing time caused by extreme restriction. - At the time I had heard of trigger foods but didn't realise the power until I was living in this cycle. - Nutella and bars of chocolate were my triggers it only took me to say ill just have a spoon or a square and before I knew it had turned into an uncontrolled frenzy and then horrendous guilt afterwards - It was truly miserable and not a life I ever want to go back to. I can now eat my trigger foods without any worry, but for a time they were kept out of my house. - I think feeling helpless is one of the most awful feelings, thinking that there is no way out (there always is) - So I wanted to offer you things that helped me so if you are stuck in a cycle which is sabotaging your progress you can start moving forward - Don’t be fooled that the stuff around you isn’t feeding into the problem - If you insist on keeping your cupboards stashed with all the goodies you love but can’t control then you are setting yourself up for a fall. - If have an irratic unbalanced approach to eating and you layer on restriction after restriction you are setting yourself up for a fall. - If you don’t get super smart and identify if part of your driver is your emotions, you will keep using food to deal with certain feelings. - The only way to deal with this is to be able to change your reaction when you find yourself in an emotional state-> enter barrier foods -> dialling up a buddy -> or if you find yourself out of control then you need to change your physical state scream, jump do the splits anything! - If you continually spend time with unsupportive people who think; - 👉🏻you trying to improve habits is a joke 👉🏻you struggling to control your eating is funny 👉🏻or they contribute nothing positive to your life - You really need to minimise they’re involvement in your life especially around food. - It's not easy but it is totally possible to get back into the driver's seat of your life. @sarahdufflifestyleandfitness #weightlossroutinez

day 17 is about eating out. Well tonight I did just that but this is no ordinary restaurant... When in the Vail area, every protein lover must try where you cook your own steak on a grill. I seasoned my NY strip prime cut with seasoning salt, garlic powder and truffle butter. I cooked it to a perfect medium rare. It was insanely delicious.
