The thing I love about landscapes is that they are constantly changing. Even from one click of the shutter to the next. As the clouds move and the rays of light cut through casting long shadows and highlighted areas. It means you don’t always have to be out and sunrise or sunset to get an interesting scene ☀️ . . . . . . . . . . . #photosofbritain #topukphoto #visitbritain #naturegram #rural_love #capturingbritain #Natureaddict #goexplore #getoutstayout #freshairandfreedom #thegreatoutdoors #exploreeverything #nature_wizards #thisismyadventure #liveoutdoors #stayandwander #picoftheday #bestnatureshot #my_natural_feature #landscape_specialist #landscapecaptures #landscapehunter #country_features #visitderbyshire #Derbyshire #Ig_peakdistrict #peakdistrict #wearederbyshire #discoverderbyshire at Hollins Cross

I had a few Hare re moments tonight descending #kinderscout I had planned to see the woolpacks stone formations but discovered that Kinder is alot bigger then I thought. I visited #kinderdownfall then thinking I could easily cut across the top back facing Mam Tor. Wasn't that easy and took forever! I thought I'd be back down before night set but I didn't get back to my car till 10:30 thank god for led lights! Tonight's light wasn't brill so didn't get many shots of the landscapes, but this fella popped up in the distance and I stalked him for a little bit before he turned and posed a few moments for this shot then off he went. The only one I saw tonight so glad he stuck around for this picture 😊 at Kinder Scout

It was a beauty of a day yesterday, we hiked and I mean hiked up Win Hill to capture the sunset. After a brief rest due to me being majorly unfit and wanting to bring up a lung, myself and @josh.glaister reached the summit and waited. We had a scout around, took some photos and chatted to a few loonies running up and down said hill, but sadly the sun set was a bust, the sun obscured by haze and could. I managed to capture this of an interesting guy we met that was wild camping for a few days just exploring. I realised that's something I really need to do soon! --- Hope you enjoy the picture, please leave me a comment on it, I love chatting to you and getting your thoughts 👍🏻👍🏻 ~ #landscapephotography #landscapelover #landscape_captures #landscapes #landscape_photography #pixel_ig #landscape_hunter #landscape_lovers #landscapecaptures #landscapestyles_gf #landscape_specialist #getlost #landscapephotomag #ig_landscape #trapping_tones #ig_masterpiece #ig_podium #splendid_earth #agameoftones #optoutside #discoverearth #exploretheglobe #nakedplanet #places_wow #wearederbyshire #gloriousbritian #gb_gb #britainshiddengems #discoverderbyshire at Win Hill

If you're familiar with my vlogs on the YouTubes (link in the bio) you might know that I don't like to spend too much time planning before I go out shooting. So sometimes a great astrolandscape spot looks a little more like this... To be fair, the weather forecast had said 'partly cloudy', but I think 'thick fog with visibility less than 20 metres' would have been more accurate. This is up at one of my favourite locations, Stanage Edge, in the @peakdistrictnationalpark . No stars, or really any sort of night sky, but sometimes I enjoy the minimalist look to shots taken in these conditions. -- @nikonuknordic D500 / @tokina_global 11-16mm iso1000 f6.3 8s @3leggedthing Travis #ilovesheffield #sheffphotos #igersderbyshire #nightscaper #long_exposure #longexpoelite #peakdistrict #letsgopeakdistrict #uniquedistrict #night_shooterz #appicoftheweek #nightskape #wearederbyshire #reflectionsmag #longexpo_addiction #shainblumff #longexpohunter #longexposhots #longexposure_kings #longexposure_photos #longexposure_shots #longexposureoftheday #longexposurephotographer #longexposurephotography #longexposures at Stanage Edge, Derbyshire

The long weekend is finally with us!! Last night was my first time up on Derwent Edge. It was such a nice evening I couldn’t believe I didn’t see another soul the whole time I was up there, but I’m not complaining... at Derwent Edge

Reach Tap More… Yesterday I nipped down to my local woodland in trying to find compositions and in result pictures which represent an emotion or a story. I never really have embraced any photography in the woodlands before as this was my first proper attempt it was difficult to try and find a simple pleasing picture amongst all the beautiful chaos that forests have to offer. Trying to keep my eye simple either seeing the big picture of the Woodland scene or even the most intimate details was very difficult. This was one of the first shots which I was happy with on this morning adventure, as the sun finally rose about an hour after it's due anticipation, the light started to create vibrant spots of light in the woodland. In this picture named “Reach”, I really like the birch branch which has fallen over leading into the scene onto a colourful banking, almost reaching out to the other side and leads you into the Scene, alongside vivid greens and dark tones which I think really emphasizes the image quite well with the two contrasts. I'd like to start doing more woodland photography from time to time, because it really tests you as a photographer and unleashes creativity. So be sure to let me know what you think about this picture and the art of woodland Photographs. . Location 📍 Peak District . Taken With @sonyalpha a7II @zeisscameralenses 24-70f4 . I was going to caption this one like, try & be proffesh & call it something witty like “boat” boat. The more times you say boat, the weirder it sounds. Boat. Boat😂 its a boat. Hahaha. Crazy words, slug is one of my favourites. Slug, hahaha. Who thought of that? Here we have a slug, slug. Its not even a slug, its a boat. The Industrial Revolution of the 19th century created huge demand for water in the industrial cities of the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. The proximity of Sheffield and its neighbours to the Upper Derwent valley were thus factors in the decision to dam the valley to create the Howden and Derwent reservoirs. Pictured is the beautiful Derwent Dam. ~ Construction of the solid masonry dam began in 1902, a year after the building of Howden commenced, and proved a mammoth task. The huge stones that formed the walls of the dam were carried along a specially created railway from the quarries at Bole Hill near Grindleford. Over 1,000 workers lived in a specially constructed self-contained town called Birchinlee or "Tin Town". The filling of the reservoir began in November 1914, and overflowed for the first time in January 1916, with the water almost immediately passing into supply. The dam can support a total of 9.64 million cubic metres of water. ~ This photo was skilfully captured by @map_my_hike at Derwent Dam

One of the riverside cottages in the peaceful hamlet of Alport. . During the 18th Century Alport would have been bustling with activity as it was an important lead mining area here in the Peak District. . TRAVELGRAM: England / Peak District .............................................................. The light. // Another sunrise, another very different picture. Loved what the light was doing here. It kind of played with the hills and the road. And I was there to witness it.
