When I joined the Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce eight years ago, I had no idea that I’d be standing in this position. For six years I have served on the Board of Directors and for the last three years I have served as the President of this great organization. The impact this chamber has had on our local business community has been remarkable. I am humbled to have had a role in shaping what we are today.
While many Chambers across the country are closing their doors, the Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce has been resilient and strong. Our growth, engaging experiences, and commitment to our business community is unmatched.
I have loved standing beside remarkable entrepreneurs and organizations as they launch and make an impact in our community. I have loved bringing valuable education, resources, events, and experiences to the Chamber. I am humbled to have played a part in inspiring the business voice in this community by working in partnership with the great leaders of Signal Hill. I am honored to have worked alongside some of the greatest men and women leaders of our community. To each of you who have served as board members, committees heads, ambassadors and volunteers, I thank you. You’ve supported the vision, helped implement our goals, and have been instrumental in the success of this Chamber.
I am forever grateful for the love and support that you all have shown me, my family, Asset Media Group, AMG Studios, and the Urban Media Foundation. It has been an honor and privilege to serve as President of this organization. Thank you for giving me this opportunity, for trusting me, supporting me, holding Nori through meetings and events, and most of all, your friendship.
I have learned from all of you, been inspired by each of you, and am honored to call you family. Because of that, this has been a very difficult decision to make, but I must move on to the next chapter of my career. I hope to continue to work with each of you in the future. As always, all the best in business and life. My prayer is that we each continue to grow and prosper in purpose. JOIN ME FOR MY FINAL LUNCH AS MADAM PRESIDENT TOMORROW @ the Grand in Long Beach. 11:30 at Signal Hill, California
