All aboard the CS Recorder! This ship is based out of London and is employed to lay cable across the ocean. During its latest voyage, the ship sustained damage to its radar as well as the main mast from a combination of turbulent seas and storm gales in excess of 100 mph. Docked in the port of New Haven, CT, Marr worked for JS Connor and subcontractor The Lightship Group to design a system for multi-trade access to repair the damaged areas as quickly as possible. Marr erected two systems scaffold work platforms, each built 5' wide x 5' long x 18' high with multiple load in decks, cantilevered work platforms, and ladder access over two consecutive days, and dismantled both two days later. As soon as the last piece of staging was removed from the ship, the CS Recorder left port and headed back out to the open ocean to continue its journey.
