We would like to speak about a very different type of luxury today, an ethical luxury that has cultural and humanitarian value.
Many visit Jerash and its archeological sites. But few know that Jerash is also home to a refugee camp. It also houses a very special enterprise, @sepjordan, that gives Palestinian female artists the chance to express themselves and earn a decent living, by embroidering ethical luxury accessories. Each piece is a unique work of art.
While the camp is not accessible for casual visits, you may be able soon to learn this ancient technic from the artists themselves.
Watch this space!!! In the meantime, you can support the SEP Jordan cause by visiting their site and shops and getting some of their amazing work. at Jerash, Jordan
