I made a compilation of my entire fitness journey: full disclosure, from super skinny, to what some would consider “overweight” + everything in between. This was fun, uncomfortable, but most importantly 100% real in showing people that I don’t walk around looking the way I want to 24-7.
Ages 19,20,21 super skinny
Age 22 started to implement light weights, clean eating + cardio, became obsessed with being shreddy and seeing my abs 🙌🏼 Really wanted to enter an NPC show but was hesitant about “prepping” + was worried I wouldn’t be able to make it to the stage. Wanted to enter the 2012 October Natural Ohio but chickened out. Was a local MMA ring girl, worked for Umbrella Girls USA, modeled in a local fashion show, was the 5th girl hired at the Tilted Kilt in CLE 🥰
Age 23, Committed+loving my healthy bod, loving the baby muscles I was building. Won Miss QSL Ohio, made it in the RMG calendar (Miss Feb, my bday month 💕) started to save pictures of IFBB Pros in my phone+ idolize the bodies/muscles.
Age 24, got pretty diced, decided I would become more strict on my personal goals to compete.
Top 2 are 2014 bottom 2 are 2015
Age 24, competed for Miss Ohio Tropic Beauty (top 10) competed in my first NPC competition (placed 14) in October and fell in love with the clear heels, outrageous stage tan, + glaze. Competed again in November (placing 7th)
Competed on keto diet in March (not a good look for me at all) placed 10th. Competed again in June+I need to search for a good pic of this show, I hated the way I looked+ I barely posted any of this show. I’ll do a post with all of NPC show comparisons soon.
Auditioned for the NHL Columbus Blue Jackets Pepsi Power Patrol team, + to my shock+ surprise, made the team. It was an amazing experience, of which I’m very thankful for. I was at my heaviest weight ever at the beginning of the season. Started to work with my coach Linda Crossley toward the end of the season.
