There was a desperate knock at your door, as you opened it, a sweating and panting Peter stumbled through your door. At first you thought that maybe he’d gone for a run. That was until he bent over himself, trying to breathe. You were beyond worried. “Peter, what the hell?!” He paced around you, eyes watery and lack of sleep clearly visible.
“I-I did something bad. Really bad. It’s so bad Y/N-“ he continued to ramble things along the lines of that under his breath.
He found the nearest wall and used it to sink to the ground. He shook his head and tucked his knees up to his chest. “What did you do?!” He didn’t even look at you. You leant down and grabbed his face, forcing him to look at you, his pupils were huge, “Peter... a-are you on drugs?!” He continued to shake his head, he was rocking back and forth now too, “no, No I’m not I swear.” Well if it wasn’t drugs what the hell was going on. “Well I’m just going to keep thinking it is of you don’t tell me what actually happened.” You insisted. “I-I don’t want you to judge me.” He trembled. You swore he was having a mental breakdown. He continued to shake and rock and ramble, you still wondered if he was lying about the drugs. “I would never,” you assured him.
He took a shaky breath, any second he was going to break and his tears would drown the two of you. “I-I killed someone.” He dropped his head into his hands and looked like he was trying to scratch out his eyes.
You were taken aback. H-he killed somebody. “Who was it?” You asked, still stunned. “Some petty criminal. I wasn’t wearing my web shooters and he pulled a gun and there was a pipe and I-I just swung it around, I just wanted to warn him but it hit him. He fell backwards and then didn’t move. Like at all. You have to believe me Y/N, he was going to kill me. I was scared and it was an accident, please!” Just as you predicted he would, he suddenly broke down into tears, shaking violently with each uncontrollable sob.
You leant down to his level. “It’s okay.”
