Mt. Rainier I wish I knew you earlier! 🌲💚
I remember going to the Smithsonian in Washington,DC and my favorite part of the museum was the photography exhibition. I remember being speechless while staring and different photographs of places around the world. For some reason every time one of them made me stop and made such an impact in me, I would look at the title and the place, they all said: Mount Rainier. So, of course when visiting Seattle I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to visit this precious place.
I’m not a professional hiker by any means, but this place truly stole my heart. I went for the day and we did the reflection lake hike. It was an easy hike it took around three hours. One day is not nearly enough time to explore all of Mt. Rainier. I could’ve stayed a whole week!
Having no WiFi, hearing the sound of the river, the birds, the breeze, the smell of crisp pine trees around you and finally when you get to the lake it is strikingly beautiful— not beautiful GORGEOUS! I couldn’t help but pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming up this magnificent place.
One of the reasons I love exploring our world is because it awakens this inner child in me. The wait, the wonder and when you finally get to the place it’s... I can’t even put it into words. Makes me feel so blessed! This place is a must and should be on everyone’s bucket list. I can’t wait to go back again and this time I’ll make sure I stay longer to explore all the beauty this place has to offer. BonVoyage! at Mount Rainier National Park
