Every day may not be good, but there’s good in every day . . Everyone has those days. You know, the days where nothing goes right. Your alarm clock didn’t go off, you forgot to put your clothes in the dryer that you needed to wear today, you are out of milk for your coffee, you get into your car and the tank is on E ... and it’s only 8 am . . We ALL have those days. Those days are rough, to say the least. For every thing that was bad about today, think of something that was good . . I slept in a little bit longer, I put on a shirt that I didn’t think would fit but it did, I drank water instead of that cup of coffee, when I stopped and got gas on my way to work- I got that coffee that I missed out on this morning . . I get it, it’s hard to be positive. I have been there too many times to count. Do you ever stop to think about how grateful you are for your body? This may sound weird to some of you, but let me explain... - About 6 weeks ago I started following a program that includes weekly yoga, so Friday has become my yoga day. I’ve said this before but I’ve never been a huge yoga fan. All the “find your inner peace” stuff has never really resonated much with me. I get the idea of it more now than I have before, but if I’m not in the right mood for it I’m just kinda like 🙄 - But today was the best yoga session I’ve ever had! I felt so good through the whole thing and I feel like I’m improving 🙌🏼 - ANYWAYS. At the end of the yoga sesh we finish by cultivating a sense of gratitude for the body (again a little hippy vibe but I kinda dig it). I always enjoy this part because I don’t think people really realize how thankful they should be for their bodies. - When people complain and whine about working out my first thought is that you should be grateful that you even CAN. You don’t have a disease or disability that stops you from being active. You have a fully functioning healthy body that can do amazing things and you’re WHINING about that!? 🤨 - As someone with family members who have diseases or have had injuries that have stopped them from being active it just blows my mind that you would complain about working out when you have the ability to move. - Point is - if you have a healthy working body you should be freaking grateful for it and treat it with respect because not everyone is as fortunate as us! at Core Progression Elite Personal Training

The first picture of the day before I had Colt! It always amazing me to see what the body does during pregnancy! I was super tan then too! 🤣 The second picture is six weeks after I had Colt and was ready to dive back in! Again the human body is amazing!! The last picture is this morning after my workout! It blows my mind that in the short time I have been dedicated to me I have come such a long way! It’s no easy task but it’s worth it! A lot of heart and hustle! I have finally come to the mindset that I AM WORTH IT! Anyone can do this! I mean anyone! You just have to find that fire in you to make it happen! Better yet you should do it with me! Happy Friday! I feel like this week has dragged on forever. Starting with my pup being sick, monetary issues, qnd large bouts of anxiety, I'm glad it is Friday...when they say "the struggle is real", it's not a lie. Today was my favorite day--leg day. I thought this week would be a breeze. 🌫️ Each workout has been a struggle. I was getting down on myself. And then Thursday night my nose started to drip and the congestion set in. I was on the verge of telling myself I couldn't do it! All because I didn't feel like I thought I should or I was disappointed with my effort. Ladies, we all quit for really stupid reasons! When it starts to get tough, just keep going. Even if you don't feel like you are accomplishing something, action taken is still better than no action at all. 🤜🤛

This week I took my special needs daughter to the dentist, Wal-Mart and karate all in one day. Along with the "overcoming fears" trophy I earned in my head I treated myself to new affirmation socks and extra sauna time. Extra insight for those who may need to hear it: the Hebrew word strong in the Bible is actually more accurately translated: strength that comes from binding yourself to God. It's a strong that comes from God, not me. I regularly don't have enough in me to live this intense but blessed, special needs mom life. My secret is chazak. Be strong and courageous. Freakin’ Fun Day Friday😅✨ ✨✨✨✨✨ What up Tribe! I used to despise spin/cycle... mainly becuase it kicked my butt and I allowed myself to feel weak and defeated... But the last few spin classes Ive taken I started to shift my mindset around it... asking myself two things 1. What can I gain from this, mentally & physically? 2. How can I make this fun!? And boom things started to shift for me just like that! and I just let my body and mind connect with no expectation, no boundaries... just freakin ride! There is something so incredible about the way you are forced to show up for yourself! Its literally you, GOD and that damn Bike lol! When you want to give up.. you look to the left, look to the right and see the rest of the class still ridin up that hill and it pushes you😅! BANDED DEAD BUGS 〽️ Bill at it again with an awesome variation to his dead bugs! Adding the Grey Cook Exercise band on this exercise allows you to torch up those abdominals to a greater degree. Pulling down on the band as you are doing the dead bugs keep the ribs down, lower back nice and flat to engage that 6 pack you secretly admire. You can make this exercises harder or easier, just by simply kicking one leg out at a time to both at the same time. 〽️ Always good to hear that Bill gets tons of core activation after our workouts. The secret krabby patty formula for how to eat to reach your goals 🍔 . 🍞 first you need your bun, which is your basic macro breakdown. This is basically how many carbs, protein, and fats you need to consume each day for your specific goal. This varies person to person, and is super dependent on so many different factors, but don’t keep cutting calories, you’ll never get out of that plateau 🧀 next, you need the cheese (of course, what’s a krabby patty without cheese?). Figure out what foods don’t work well with your body. Do you bloat after you eat dairy? Your gut probably doesn’t digest it very well. 🥬🍅 your toppings, be sure that you are incorporating your micronutrients (fruits and veggies) but be sure to never restrict a fun food from your diet 🍩, because restriction leads to bingeing and a bad relationship with food. 🍗 the patty is of course protein, prioritize protein throughout the day to build muscle mass and burn some extra calories at rest! 🍯 my secret krabby patty formula is.... consistency! Being consistent is the best way to make your body and metabolism adjust instead of putting it on a roller coaster of inconsistency! 🍞 lastly, meal prep! I workout to help my feel less stressed and anxious. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sometimes I have to force myself to get started. Other days it’s not as difficult. (Today was a difficult day.) Currently, I am beyond stressed. I don’t really sleep at night and I’m becoming more forgetful as the week has progressed. Key signs of stress and anxiety. So I’m tired and just want to eat and sleep all day long. But, I keep moving because I need to show up for myself and those who are counting on me to be their role model.
