One of the best ways to improve your strength is to build the crap out of your grip. If you can choke a bar and keep it under your full control, chances are that you’re not leaking much power. If you’re wobbling and slipping your grip constantly, it’s like your muscle can’t do the work it’s actually capable of. Looking back, there was a time where I couldn’t do one @fatgrip pull-up in my senior year of college, when they first came out. Now I can bang out sets of five. My weight hasn’t changed, and my biceps aren’t anywhere near as juicy as they were when they were #cardiofree , but I’m still getting stronger!
Moral of the story: work through your weaknesses and humble yourself. Patting yourself on the back feels great, but mediocrity doesn’t. Address it, don’t whine about it! Not using my tiny hands as an excuse anymore. 👏
