Do you ever cheat on your workout? Just over here geeking out about this nutrition certification that I’m working on. ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been eating healthy for years now, but there is SO much more for me to learn and I’m so incredibly excited that I decided to dive into being certified in this program. The timing couldn’t be better either since I’m going to have to take some time off from exercising when I get my wrist surgery. Rückschläge- eine Aufforderung aufzustehen, durchzuatmen und weiterzugehen. Ich greife dieses Thema auf, da ich vor 2 Tagen genau das erlebt habe: einen Rückschlag. Erst habe ich mich schuldig gefühlt, mich gefragt warum, war frustriert, für die nächsten 24h war mir mein Körper egal. So langsam klären sich meine Gedanken jedoch und mir fällt auf, dass ich es eigentlich als Erfolg sehen sollte. Das war der allererste Binge seit 4!!! Wochen. Und die Menge an Essen nach der mir dann unglaublich schlecht war war verhältnismäßig zu der Menge die ich noch vor 2 Monaten verdrücken konnte gering. Mir war wirklich noch nie so übel von Essen... Vergleiche dich nicht mit anderen, mit Leuten die nie mit einer Essstörung zu kämpfen hatte. vergleiche dich nicht mit Leuten, die ihre Essstörung schon überwunden haben. vergleiche dich nur mit dir selbst und sehe deinen Fortschritt. Für mich ist es jetzt wichtig nach solch einem Ereignis aufzuräumen. In meinem Kopf und in meiner Küche. 😅 Langsam zurück in die Realität kehren, mir etwas gesundes kochen, Sport machen, nicht um das was „zu viel war“ zu verbrennen, sondern um mir etwas gutes zu tun. Meine Ziele nochmals definieren. Mein Ziel ist nicht die Gewichtsabnahme. Es ist ein normales Essverhalten und ein gesunder Körper. Eine Fressattacke nach so langer Zeit entfernt dich nur von deinem Ziel, wenn du dieses Ziel nicht richtig gesetzt hast. Sehe nicht das bisschen negative und mache keine Panik um das eine mal. Sei stolz, dass du es so lange geschafft hast und arbeite an dir um den Abstand zur nächsten Attacke noch mehr zu vergrößern. Niemand ist perfekt und niemand kann sich von einem auf den nächsten Tag heilen. Es ist ein Prozess. After my Zumba class today at the Y I saw a jar on the check-in counter filled with these bright colored folded paper strips. The sign next to it said: Take your spiritual vitamin. So I took one and this is what it said. Couldn’t have been a more perfect vitamin for me. Yes, this is where I am right now, confident I’m on the right track with a strong tendency to just sit there! I have the three dazzling chapters I need for my book proposal and all the research done to prepare it, but i want to stall. Do you ever catch yourself feeling paralyzed? The part of the next step I need to do to complete the writing of the proposal for Chasing World Changers is to ask for endorsements. Eeeek! This makes me queasy. I pour my heart and soul into these nonprofit features. So when I get feedback I pay attention. Recently I asked the person who said some things that I had heard before to write an endorsement.
