🧨Wow, So I Haven’t had a 2 hr training session like this in a while.... πŸ“ 14 sets total of Barbell Squats (straight sets & pause squats)..... πŸ’• .... it feels so good to have some decent weight on the bar again ..... finished the workout with Barbell Glute Thrusters 6 x 10-12 and Machine isolated glute kickbacks, and for the finale: 10min of threshold πŸ“Š training (SandBag holding it overhead & on my back 30 / 30)... Back and chest πŸ˜… How many days per week do you train? I get asked this often! Most weeks is 6 days which includes lifting x3, long run x1, sprint intervals x1, bootcamp (HIIT) x1 or 2 and then a big ol’ REST day on Sundays. Rest and recovery is super important if you want to see results- overtraining is a real thing! Listen to your body - if you’re feeling tired and run down, if you’re working hard but not seeing the results you should be, if you’re feeling sore all of the time- you are likely overtraining! ‼️I Finally got Cleared to Lift Upper Body!!! I haven’t been able to train anything upper body due to compressed nerves in my scapula/back which was affecting the strength in my entire right arm... my A.R.T (active release therapy) Specialist was able to stretch (floss) the nerves in my Scapula/Back & Arm today enabling me to finally enjoy a Chest workoutπŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ. Well it was a Quad Day 😌 - instead of a regularly scheduled Back session.... Biceps/Brachialis Muscles are still not good enough to train.... probably be another day or two, or three, till I attempt to handle any weight directly with my biceps.... Arm Progress over the past 5 years. Shoulders are growing 🌱 🍊 I'm am the worst for picking myself apart, its something I've been working on very hard on this part of me. Everyone in the world can tell me I look good but it takes a lot for me to see it myself. I've never had a issue dropping my pregnancy weight, but after Evan it seems to be Extra hard, plus weird health issues that I thought I could put aside and they seem to get worse over time. I finally stopped being so fucking stubborn and went to the Dr to get checked out and my blood work done. I hope I get answers soon.
