Years back, I would’ve told you I hated my twenties. They were full of heartbreak, broken promises, lonely nights, drunken nights, emotional and verbal abuse, insecurities, depression and anxiety. But now I look back at all I learned within those years, and I’m grateful. Sounds insane... but all that I went through taught me so much about myself. I discovered so much at rock bottom! My resilience, inner strength, discipline, structure, self love, compassion and the list goes on! I no longer chased what everyone thought I should be, instead, I started loving all that I was and all that I had. I stopped complaining about what I didn’t have and planned on how to get them. Self Healing wasn’t easy but it was worth it. I had to take some time to self reflect, and make changes in order to live the life I wanted. Taking the dive within to heal and grow takes tremendous strength and wherever you are in this self development journey, I’m proud of you!!! Know that it’s a forever thing and to be patient with yourself.✨ • As for me, I still have work to do. I thought I tackled all of the lingering issues with my mother but some of them recently resurfaced....Like I said, it’s a forever thing. Just when you think you’ve fully healed an area of your life, something else shows up and needs your attention 😂 • I just wanted to check in, send some words of encouragement to anyone that needs it! Has the world gone mad? (Deep post alert) I rarely have the time to sit and really look through Instagram but this morning post 6am lamb feeding I did. After 20 minutes of doing that I came away feeling totally crap about myself, every picture was perfect, the homes, the lives, the families, the children, the furniture. I fully understand influencers posting Ad’s to help fund the time they invest on social media (I have done this too) but some accounts were ads every other post, the photos were professionally taken, the make up has been done by a make up artist and I looked at those pictures and felt totally inadequate as a mum/person/woman. I currently have two newborn lambs in my living room, behind me on the kitchen table is more washing than I can even cope with, as you know I’m having a huge break out of spots on my face and as per usual I am wearing odd socks. Arabella is upstairs occupied on the iPad so I can get all the animals fed/chores done (terrible parent alert) and I’ve started my day wondering where all the relatable content has gone and whether I should employ a live in photographer and make up artist??? Where have the real lives, real women and honesty gone??? at Bristol, United Kingdom

Merke von Tag zu Tag, je mehr Sachen ich weg gebe, dass es meiner Seele sehr gut tut und meinem Inneren eine gewisse Struktur gibt. Wie Bodo Schäfer sagt, so wie man Aussen lebt, lebt man im Inneren auch. Ich habe mir auch vorgenommen immer wie mehr Richtung Minimalismus zu gehen, weil man so seine Sachen schneller findet und keine Unordung hat.
