::: Days like today I have to remind myself I run for me and no one else. I constantly feel inadequate in this sport despite myself being my only competition. At the gym I'm considered a jogger not a runner. In running group I'm slower than the slowest pace group offered. Finding a niche in a community of people who out perform you is difficult. Especially when that feeling spills over into all aspects of your life. Not everyone run is a good run. Not every day is a good day. Eating disorders - alas, today is not a rare problem, which causes shock and ignorance of its essence in others. We caught, we created and we continue this chain of continuous conflict with food.🤪 ⠀ We work to earn money for food, and having earned, we are afraid of food. The only thing I can personally advise is to take responsibility for my body, my behavior and my life upon myself. Regarding personal effective advice, I recommend the following: ⠀ 1. Revision of motivation (I was upset when I realized my motivation when I was faced with the problem of eating disorders: to whom and what do you want to prove by creating your dream body? Why is this body created? Is there really a reason for seeking harmony and health?) ⠀ 2. Revision of the definition of the body (are you sure that you are just a body? What is the body for you? Why do you need it? And what functions did you assign to it) ⠀ 3. Revising the attitude to food (what about thoughts of gratitude before each meal? What about the awareness of the taste of each product in your plate? What about understanding WHAT for you to replace junk food with healthy) ⠀ 4. Awareness of the emotions that you eat with food (are you sure that you are eating a cake? Maybe you are eating success that you are hungry? Personal life, which can be replaced with pizza? Anxiety, which can be muffled by overeating?) ⠀ 5. Criticism. (Frequent delusion - to criticize yourself in attempts to bring to justice. Full refusal from criticism, comparison and other things is destructive - the basis of the foundations. What about praising yourself every time at least for trying to find solutions? Left is November 2nd 2018 Right is February 16th 2019 . Posting this is probably one of the hardest things for me. But, at the same time. I want to be as open and real about myself, as i always say to everyone. And I stick to my words. . On the left, I fell a bit off track with my diet. I always had late night cravings and would basically over eat in a 24 hour period. Obviously it caught up to me and got to the point where I was unhappy with how I was looking. I was insecure and was uncomfortable in my skin. I was still going to the gym 5 times a week and killed my workouts. But just because I was killing my workouts, doesn’t mean it was going to change what I was putting in my body that day. Diet is LITERALLY everything. It took me 4 years of going to the gym to finally realize it and to figure out what works best for ME. . Which now leads me to the rightttt. I don’t know if you notice but I am just sooo happy with how far I have came in these past 3 months. I try my best to not eat any dairy, sugars, and processed foods. Don’t get me wrong, I still eat some of those things. But not every. Single. Day. It’s all balance, commitment, and patience. Those are three things that you ALL could do to make a change within yourself. I am now openly confident in my skin and I am seriously just so happy. You are what you eat my friends. And I’m proving that to you with this video💙 . P.s. yep.
