We’re often told to forgive others to free ourself - but it’s not enough where we are encouraged to forgive OURSELF to free ourself. (the Self - your Spirit) -
We unconsciously hold on to so much anger, pain, grief, insecurity, & fear in the subtle spaces of our consciousness and we miss the reason why. We just feel “this is how I am” / “this is me”. But this couldn’t be farther from the truth. -
All of these emotions are LEARNED emotions from how you’ve processed your experiences. Most of which we don’t let go of - we ponder on them, revisit them through nostalgia, we relive them through memories, and we energize them each time we are triggered by our day to day experiences. In other words; when our buttons get pushed. Why is that? Because there are those experiences still lurking beneath the surface. Sometimes very FAR beneath the surface. -
The solution to clearing out these blockages will be to first IDENTIFY WHAT (not with) what your triggers are, what’s the result of these unhealed traumas and experiences that scarred you emotionally, mentally, spiritually? They could have been subtle experiences that left huge scars - especially childhood ones. After you identify the story that’s at play, follow it to the root - WHO is hurt, who is triggered, who is angry, etc. It can’t be the true you because the true you is HERE in this moment & those experiences are not. So there’s an aspect of yourself that is left in these spaces, energetically. As a result, we are being drained of our precious energy, unknowingly. -
It’s KEY not to blame yourself, or shame yourself during this process - just let go & keep letting go of what no longer serves you. We can complicate this process of energetically releasing experiences, people, things — but it can be as simple as sending love and forgiveness to each of these experiences in your meditation and giving them permission to be released/to go. There doesn’t have to be so much stagnant, pinned up energy in our energy bodies — we can choose to breathe into them, face them, send them love and compassion & let them go. They no longer serve you. Where you’re going, none of them are needed. -
Purify, cleanse, release & forgive.
