God is good! Saturday was an amazing night of worship, and we definitely felt Gods presence! Thank you Jonny Martis for presenting for the word, and I would like to thank everyone that helped make this youth gathering happen! We could not have done this without all of you! God bless you all! The next youth gathering date will be posted soon, so feel free to DM us if you would like to participate!
Miss UmojaFest is back home from college & made time to volunteer for the annual We.APP Rising Voices Oratory Competition! It was a pleasure having her come out to support the scholars! It was a long eventful day but we all made it through 80 participants & 3 rounds of speeches to get to the 7 finalist who took home an award. I’m always honored to support the We.APP staff in planning for this event & serving the youth in this way. #SpeakWithPurpose#RisingVoices2019#WeAPP#SeattleYouth#Oratory#Empowerment#Unapologetic#MsPublicityTCF

Leschi’s Rising Son’s attended the African American Males Weekend at Camp Orkila along with other boys & men from the community.
This was my son’s first camp experience & I was excited to send him off with some familiar faces. I’m truly grateful to know that my son has a group at his school which is geared toward preparing him for his role as a leader & active stakeholder in his community. Creating fun memories at camp is just the icing on the cake. Thanks @100blackparents for coordinating this annual trip for the fellas! #AAMW19#BlackBoyJoy#SeattleYouth#Brotherhood#Bonding#Empowerment#Mentorship

To end my group of posts about the Youth Climate Strike on Friday March 15th, 2019 I would like to leave you with this message from Mother Earth. Please respect our earth as I really believe if we don’t make a change quick, we may not make it that much longer. We are slowly killing ourselves and our planet. Do anything you can. Raise awareness, buy in bulk, go zero waste, do whatever you can but most importantly love and respect our planet. at Cal Anderson Park
