As I look at this picture I can’t help but remember our first trip to Puerto Rico, it was the last trip we took before becoming engaged! I remember while on this trip, I was told by someone that we needed to stop traveling if we ever wanted to get married, I remember thinking to myself: "NO WAY!" Not because I didn’t want to become his wife, but because I didn’t understand why we couldn’t do all those things (build) and continue doing what we loved- traveling. It took me a while to realize that this person was so so so wrong! (thank goodness we didn’t listen)
The idea that a family won’t take a vacation because they have kids, bills, or other responsibilities is not realistic. NOTE: I believe in goals, in wanting to save for a house, in paying-off debt, in being financially stable, but you dont have to sacrifice travel in exchange for financial freedom. My goal for when Fernando and I have children is to take them on vacation twice a year, this is in addition to any getaways we may take within the year.
After prolonging the idea, I’ve decided to start helping families get on vacation! @jeslanica has been my first client and it makes me so happy that because of my help, she and her loved ones will be taking a vacation August 2019!!! -thank you for depositing all of your trust in me, a complete stranger to you...you’re the best! Being able to share what I love with all of you is priceless💛
