One of the best things I did in business was turn some customers away. 👋
I came to understand that not every customer is going to be a good fit. If they are stretching their budget, or stretching us because they wanted us to be something else, I would send them to another supplier.
Not in a nasty way, in a very uplifting positive way, for example “my goal is that you are 100% happy with our service and I don’t think we are going to meet your expectations, but I know a supplier who will”
The outcome? Many of these customers still recommended us to friends and family because what it established was TRUST, what is avoided for me was a massive headache 🤣🚀 #sales
