It’s hard to believe these photos I took in early 2011 when I created “Eye Spy a Studio.
It was always my dream to create images from times gone by and collect and make costumes and headpieces. I love to be creative and many would know I have a treasure trove of goodies.
I have spent time and loads of money educating myself, doing many workshops and have some great mentors who are now my friends.
It’s not been an easy ride and I never expected it to be. I’ve been knocked down, I’ve even been bagged behind my back but I’m not a quitter either.
A huge thank you goes to all my supporters, you know who you are, the ones who understand my passion and dedication. The ones who have stood by me and seen me give and give and give. Your loyalty means the world.
At the moment I don’t know what’s happened but I feel like I’ve lost my mojo. My heart is always going to have a love of photography in it, that will never go away.
Maybe it’s just the feels at the moment (well a few months) but I’m hoping my mojo will come back.
I’m my own worst critic as well and self doubt rears it’s ugly head a lot!! As any small business owner knows, it has its highs and lows. When you hit the moments when you think your not good enough the important thing is not being afraid to take a chance. Remember, the greatest failure is to not try. Once you find something you love to do, be the best at doing it. This I believe, I always given “My Best”
So here’s a couple of photos I took in those early days when I began my journey ( my daughters will kill me lol ) but I took some time going back right to the start and looking at images I have taken. Makes me smile at some of them. “I don't think there's any artist of any value who doesn't doubt what they're doing.” – Francis Ford Coppola.
