Let me take you to our road trip of this beautiful island through the mixologist’s eyes — The Heritage represents the Tabanan area with Jatiluwih rice paddies as UNESCO World Heritage and fresh strawberries plucked straight from Bedugul strawberry farms. Slightly to the hustle and bustle of Denpasar, we introduce Denpasar Kisses as a reflection of Omed-omedan tradition by mixing up with Arak Bali, dom benedictine, lemon juice. Moving along to the Jimbaran Bay cocktail, this drink represents the tropical vibes that include gin with a mixture of salt and water to create a complete experience of crystal blue beaches that are famous in Bali. As we head to the east of Bali, we have 7 in East, inspired from the seven ingredients that locally sourced from east Bali, with Arak Bali from Karangasem as the star of the drink complemented by home-made snake fruit juice, Rosella tea, pineapple syrup, lemon juice. Step into the beach with a Black Sand cocktail to reflect Gianyar’s famous black sand beaches and their homegrown jackfruits as a local source of the cocktail which include home-made spiced rum, home-made jackfruit syrup, coconut milk. Next, feel the breeze uphill as we reached Klungkung Breeze cocktail, a refreshing vodka-based cocktail mixed with local ingredients, such as Midori liquor, cucumber, and coconut water. Take a deep breath because we’re almost on the top of east Bali, Bangli Zephyr cocktail is an intriguing cocktail with orange Kintamani and Bali coffee mixed with gin, orange bitter, cold brew coffee, home-made curacao, vanilla syrup, jackfruit syrup, saline solution, and coconut jackfruit foam.
Highlighting the western part of Bali, we’ll take a ride to Lovina with Dolphin’s Song cocktail that is influenced by a melody of dolphins at dawn and the scenery of vineyard along the north coast, the cocktail’s a mix of local Arak, home-made grape syrup, and vodka infused lemongrass.
