🌺 Sauter le pas (partie 1) 🌺 Un post pour expliquer le pourquoi du comment 😊 Avocate de formation, j'ai exercé en cabinet et en entreprise pendant 4 ans. Après 7 ans d'études acharnées à mettre de côté santé et vie sociale 😒, j'ai occupé différents postes. Dans aucun d'entre eux, je ne me suis sentie à ma place. Je manquais de motivation (moi qui adore pourtant les challenges et ai toujours à cœur de faire mieux que mon mieux) et surtout, j'étais malheureuse 😔 Un environnement toxique lié à de mauvaises rencontres (même s'il y en a eu de bonnes et je remercie encore ces personnes d'avoir été présentes pour adoucir cette période noire 😘) et un domaine qui ne m'intéressait au fond plus autant. Pourtant, je me suis accrochée. A chaque nouveau poste, chaque nouvelle déception humaine, je me disais "allez encore un essai". Je n'osais pas remettre en question toutes ces années d'études et tout recommencer de zéro 😱 L'inadéquation de ma vie professionnelle avec mes aspirations personnelles et ma personnalité était telle que j'en avais perdu le sommeil, je perdais du poids à vue d'œil, j'avais des problèmes de peau et j'étais dans un tel état de nerfs que j'étais au bord des larmes dès le dimanche soir... Strong and gentle. ⠀⠀ I used to feel like I was such a contradiction. Like I had all these conflicting personality traits. ⠀⠀ I’m one hand I’m optimistic, kind, gentle, sweet, compassionate... ⠀⠀ But on the other, I’m also strong, tough, opinionated, risky, fierce... ⠀⠀ I felt like there were two halves to me. Sometimes I wanted to show up in a gentle way and sometimes I wanted to storm in on 🔥 ⠀⠀ I wanted to be both but I felt like I had to be one or the other. ⠀⠀ And it was such a lightbulb moment {that came with an amazing branding convo with the lovely @madisonsorrentino 😘}... When I realized that the different parts of me are not separate. It’s not one or the other. I don’t have to choose. ⠀⠀ That all together, they make me, me. ⠀⠀ I blew the lid off that box that I was trying to fit in and embraced the wonderful fact that I love to show up in so many ways in my life. I am liking this memory. Now that was a good day, especially at work. January 16, 2017: I had a good day. Our clinic was closed, but I worked my 8-hours, attempting to get caught up on a few projects. I appreciated the quiet, but I still managed to make a little noise, my kind of noise. I had Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and a few others playing in the background. On occasion, the volume had to be turned up. It was also a day for self-care. Self-care is important to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself. I had flowers delivered to my office. Some people might think that's odd, but not me. There are many reasons why people buy themselves flowers, and it usually has to do with wanting to boost their spirits. I opted for flowers because I was already in a good mood and I felt like doing something spontaneous, something that would brighten my day even more. Remember this, self-love is important to your overall happiness. Loving yourself takes practice and a strong resolution. It’s the willingness to pick yourself up when life is unkind. My hours at work were crazy and I never knew what time I'd be done for the day and when I was finally done I had no energy left for anything. I didn’t like the version of myself that I was. I was cranky, gaining weight, tired, and often lazy. 😟 I decided I needed to find a way to get my workout done. I COULDN'T LET MY JOB STOP ME FROM WORKING OUT! I had been getting my workout in only 2 days a week after work. That wasn't enough and I just wasn’t being consistent. I reached out to my coach and she suggested working out in the morning. I told her, "I’ve tried that and it doesn’t work for me." I had gone to the gym ONCE before work in my entire life. ONCE. She offered a team zoom for accountability. Then it hit me!! I don’t need other people to show up for myself. I just need to show up for myself! At that moment it was a major mindset shift for me. Now, almost every workday, I set my alarm for 4:45 am and get my workout in before work. It has been a game changer for me! Olá Maltinha 😁 Hoje venho falar de um tema que me foi MUITO pedido. . Sei que muitos de vocês andam a procura do exercício magico para o #bumbumnanuca e fazem mil e um exercícios diferentes para terem pernas tonificadas e um bumbum empinadinho, quem nunca? 🙋🏼‍♀ . Hoje venho simplificar a vossa vida e falar dos meus exercícios básicos que não podem faltar se queres desenvolver um glúteo grande. Alias, muito provavelmente até já ouviste isto… Mas não deste importância… 😉 Agachamento! #Squat ! É sem duvida um dos exercícios chave para trabalhar glúteos 🍑 e pernas. . Dentro do agachamento também tens varias opções, podes fazer com barra atrás, frontal, com KB ou DB, sumo, e podes escolher uma ou até mais formas. Claro que essa escolha vai depender da morfologia de cada pessoa e do seu nível de aptidão física pelo que convém sempre que fales com um profissional antes de decidires qual vai ser a tua escolha ☺ . No entanto há opções para todos! Para quem não se sente a vontade ainda para fazer agachamentos pode recorrer á prensa, estudos* já mostraram que é um exercício que também trás um aumento do glúteo 🍑 Pessoalmente gosto de ter os dois na minha rotina 🙃 . Outro exercício que gosto bastante e que vocês estão fartos de ver nos meus stories é o peso morto, onde também existem varias opções como sumo deadlift, Romanian deadlift, stiff… é comum este exercício ser usado também para trabalhar lombar porém este exercício também trabalha glúteos e posteriores da coxa. . Por ultimo, vou referir o hip thrust, que sabem que também é um queridinho e até ja tenho uma publicação só sobre ele 😌 . #10yearschallenge . À mon tour de vous parler un peu des 10 années passées. . Il y a 10 ans, je faisais beaucoup la fête, et buvais pas aussi par la même occasion en soirée. Mon hygiène de vie n’en était pas une. Et la seule prise en main que j’envisageais était celle du régime proteiné qu’on connaît bien. Concernant l’effort, je haïssais toute activité physique, bien qu’adepte de basket. . Je ne jete pas la pierre à cette nana. Elle ne savait pas. Ces 10 années m’ont offertes un bagage, un vécu me permettant de me rapprocher de certaines de vos problématiques. Je sais d’où je viens. . ⚠️ Sur les photos de gauche, je semble avoir 20kg de plus. Je n’en ai que 5. 5 petits kilos, mais tout à changé physiquement, dans ma santé, et mentalement. À ce jour, ma balance est HS depuis des mois, mais mon poids ne change pas ou que très peu. . Je suis fière de mon passé, fière de mon évolution, je n’en serai pas là aujourd’hui sans lui. .
