Hi loves 💜 Happy Monday 💜 I been getting asked alot what watch or app I use to track my workout. I use the @fitbit versa 💜 I got it last june 2018 best investment I did. For me personally keeps me workout motivated. There's been times I forget it at home and noticed a difference. (Maybe is mentally) I'm very pushy at myself at the gym if I don't hit a certain calorie number I won't get off the machine or gym. I also personally check my heart rate (keep it 150-170) if the number is below I level it up. ( for does who ask how I manage to burn over 900 calories+) The watch has 7 setting you press "exercise " settings are : run, bike,swim,treadmill, weights,interval timer, and workout. I personally use *workout* since I move around alot with cardio and weights. ( swipe➡️) There's a fitbit app you could install were everything is more in detail. I charge it every 4 to 5 days. 6 years ago I came up with the name #curves4fitness but at the time it didn’t make any sense to me. I just knew I loved working out and I wanted to share my fitness journey with my close friends. 3 years ago I was in a slump. I was unmotivated and sluggish. I had been here before and in that very moment decided to look at what was and wasn’t working for me. I wanted more energy and to feel good in my body. I envisioned how I wanted to feel and the type of person I would need to be to create that. I know I couldn’t do it alone so I started a fb group and reached out a personal trainer friend for accountability. #Curves4fitness Facebook group connected me to other women on their personal holistic health journey. Fast forward to 2019, Curves4Fitness is growing. I am excited about this season of training I’m getting and the friends and fam I get to work with. I know that I don’t have it all figured out but one thing this journey continues to teach me is to trust my instincts and fill myself up with the things that bring me joy. I definitely needed lots of support today! I am so grateful to my hubby, PT Jack, friends and fellow students. Especially at the times when everything just feels unbelievably overwhelming. So yeah... I’m down 90 lbs today. Like wth. Can’t believe it. I cried tears of joy, I’m shaking typing this now realizing I could talk to text lol. But I’m excited for my next goal of reaching my high school weight of 250. At 250 I enjoyed playing tennis, track and field soccer. SMALL WIN! I know it's hard to see but for the first time in my life I can start to see a little bit of collar bone peaking through. Collar bone! I have always been a bigger girl ever since I was little. Some of the things I have always envied of my friends and those around me is 1. that they can wear bikinis and feel comfortable in their bodies doing so 2. they can tuck shirts into jeans and not look like a sack of potatoes and 3. that they have freaking collar bones. I never thought I would be so excited about collar bones. I haven't weighed myself in a few weeks because honestly, I've been scared of the scales. I kept seeing changes in myself physically but the scales hadn't been moving. This is just such a good motivation and proof that the work I'm doing is actually doing something! I am going to leave it another 2 weeks and then weigh myself again. It will be 1 month of no scales at that point and let's pray that the scales show all the effort I've been putting in. at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Haven’t posted in a while because I didn’t really feel like I was staying on track lately. Haven’t gone to the gym as much, had more cheat meals etc. Was extremely surprised and happy to have weighed myself this morning and see that I’m down another 11 pounds! Making my total weight loss 31.4 pounds in about 4 weeks. #Week33 #Goals . . . . . . This is a new week and a brand new day to hit some goals and get back on track! Let me tell yall, I am SO HAPPY to be back. I already know once I get back into rhythm I will feel even better🥰 . . . Now, I am going to update you on last week. It was the first time in the past 7 and a half months that I worked out less than 4 days a week. I have predominantly stayed 6 days consistent in the gym and if I can't do 6, I at least do 4-5. Last week I only worked out twice, both were weight training days. So when I did my second workout I was so sore the day after. I havent felt soreness from my standard compound exercises in a very long time. But, I am happy. I am chalking last week to another recovery week. My sleep was terrible and i averaged 5 hours per night. Eating was..well you already know it was 💩💩 with traveling. Just know I am so HAPPY to be eating better this week 😌 . . . This week's goals are: ~Pray every morning ~Meditate for at least 2 mins ~1 gallon per day ~Eat Better than last week ~1 mile walk every day ~Run 2 mins ~Get back on my 7-8 hours per night . . . I'll be uploading my steps for last week a bit later. I'm going to try and keep up the same momentum as that this week as well! The 5 min runs a day gave me breathing problems because of my past with bronchitis. I am going to try and work my way up there. | Dec 31 -> Today I never thought in a million years that I of all people would finally make the change and start making my health a priority, but dang am I proud of myself. It may look like small change to some but I’ve lost weight and gained confidence, self-control, happiness and energy. Depressed Lo would’ve still been sleeping and lounging around all day and eating until she couldn’t move. This isn’t the end but I had to post my progress because this motivated me so much! If you’re desperately trying to gain control of your health start small, do a few small actions a day, start swapping junk for healthy alternatives, and don’t beat yourself up if you have a setback! Keep pushing you got this!

I want you to know that beating your mindset is the biggest obstacle. You are beautiful my friend no matter what size you are. Happy Monday! . . Slept in a-little but still got up and still press play on my workout. Everyday I am getting better, everyday I am getting stronger physically and mentally. This journey is so much more than just physical, it’s more mental than anything else. . . . Without my workouts, without my girls I don’t know where I would be in my life. Crazy to think that this all started August 2017 when I wanted change. I follow a nutrition plan that easy and I am in control of it, I do workouts that challenge me everyday, and I have my accountability group which I am 100% grateful about. . . . These group are not daily check in for workouts and nutrition only, but we have daily check ins with our soul. Making sure we are ok on the inside.
