I fixed a leak in the faucet. By fix a leak I replaced the entire thing and the little stopper pipe. The old one just was leaking more than usually so I was like, aight, I'll open up the thing and fix whatever little rubber is leaking. I took out the screw but the ring holding on the capsule came off with it. Well okay. I'll turn off the turn offs under the sink. Oh they just spin. Okay.
I found a spare to cover the warm water and used the not yet exploded cold water side to hold the water so the rest of the house could have water. It worked. Today I had to take apart all the corroded parts for a new sink. The rings were so stuck I had to use a hammer and punch to get them turning. The plastic ring on one side couldn't get past the corroded threads so I just used the claw hammer and broke it off.
I did get to use that sink wrench so that was a cool experience, but working under it was a pain in the ass. That said, I need to drill or file out some of the porcelain to get the stopper thing some room to go in.
Oh the faucet also has an LED light in it for night raves.
I really hate those sink fasteners
