When I was a kid reading books used to be a tedious task for me. Maybe that was because good books aren't written for 6 year olds.
Well, good thing, I grew up, not much, but when I was 11, I finally found a book that got me hooked to reading. I was fascinated not just by the plot, or the cover but by the characters. Every page would fill me with wonder and I would think of having a personality like those characters. They were fictional but I saw them as friends.
I wanted to read more, it had become a drug for me and for the next three months I read every single day. I read books by John Green, Veronica Roth, Kiera Cass and anything that my sister would recommend.
Things were going great, but then I stumbled across this book called 'Twilight'.
I'm not gonna lie I fell in love with that book but I did not fall in love with the characters or the plot or the cover of the book. I was in love with that book but I didn't know why.
2 months later I asked myself, "Why do you love that book? The characters are bizarre, the plot is bizarre and things keep happening randomly!" And that's what snapped me out of my trance and I fell out of love.
And so I asked myself another question, "Why do you dislike the characters?" And then I realised I did not dislike ALL the characters. I just disliked Isabella Swan for some reason.
And here's why..
