Left a cart full of stuff at Target 🎯 while I carried out my screaming children...
...I think we all recovered just fine (after more than a few tears). Lesson learned: don't try to run errands after Pre-K. Not naming any names but SOMEONE is usually too wiped out to function. 😉
This stay-at-home mom thing isn't all fun and games. My day is run by three small humans whose emotions ride on whether I gave them the right color cup or gave them the snack they said they didn't want but really they do want it. For awhile I was trying to "do it all." That, my friends, is how you end up burnt out and not as far along as you'd like to be in ANYTHING. By separating my day time duties (kids, housework, homeschooling/PreK) from my work duties (workout, group check ins, personal development), I've been able to find a way better balance in life. Things are going to mix here and there, that's just the way it goes. But I already FEEL so much more in control of situations instead of always spinning.
When you see people who work from home, I hope you don't count yourself out because they look like they have it all together. No one does, I promise. The key is finding what system works for you and the life YOU want. I'm here to help you figure it all out - whenever YOU are ready. Just ask 📲
