Is powerful and protective, symbolizes courage, valor, power and leadership. Is a fierce guardian, symbol of the mother, the dark moon and the power of the night. She encourages us to understand the power within the shadows and to acknowledge these powers to help eliminate our fear of the dark and unknown. The endangered Florida Panther is the last puma surviving in the Eastern US. Their small population is currently isolated to the Everglades at the Southern tip of the state, but to survive they need access to more territory throughout Florida and beyond. This female Panther -the first to move north of the Everglades in nearly 50 years, is the HOPE for the recovery of the species and the all life that depends on her path. When we loose animal species, we loose their gifts and connection with the energy they represent, it in ourselves.
