Training brings you so much. Belief, self control, self worth, confidence, humility, patience, empowerment, inner strength, inner calm and so much more.
It can bring on a sense of metanoia (a journey of changing one's mind, heart, self, or way of life). Don't train just to lose weight. There is much, much more to it than that. The scales will not tell you what a great person you are. It won't tell you your self-worth. Or how strong you are. How much your family and friends love you. That you can make a stranger melt with your beautiful smile. That you are smart, kind, funny and amazing in ways that numbers cannot define.
Train not for what you can lose, but for what you can gain. Treat your body well and it will treat you well. 🏋🏻♀️ @sharon.j.foster
