Im definitely having one of those moments where you surprise yourself. 🤯 (Swipe to see my workout today!) A new 20min workout popped up in my gym library and I HAD to try it!!! It's pure cardio but I didnt care because it's by SHAUN T! 🤸♀️ It's a "Sneak Peek" workout for his new program launching next year. I LOVE me some Shaun T! (You know, Hip Hop Abs, Cize...INSANITY😉) Anyway 👋 This morning I wanted to do his dance workout, cause that's what I've been feeling lately, and almost put trying this new one off. I decided instead to use Cize as a "reward" for doing the "harder" workout first.🎁 .
Before I started my journey & worked to change my Mindset, food was my reward. When I was a kid and performed well in a sport/recital I was rewarded with food too. Let's be honest, it's an EASY reward, especially with kids. 🤷♀️ But it built a super unhealthy habit for myself which made reaching my goals harder. I've been reward myself with things like new leggings, a new tub of pre-workout, or going to the movies 🎬 for a while now, but choosing a WORKOUT as a reward for a workout seems crazy even to me. 😂 ya know what though, I will take it, because that is a healthy AF habit that will push me closer to my goals than a Reeses would. 😉
