This gives you next chance of performing in the gym and building muscle. 💪 After this you can look at your macros breakdown, most research shows somewhere between 1.6g-2.2g of protein per kg to be optimal for muscle building. I find 1.6g per kg per day is attainable easily on a vegan diet and is likely enough if you are in a calorie surplus. You can go over this and might see marginal extra gains. 🍄 Fats play an important role too and is vital for hormone production, while carbs are the main fuel used by your body. I tend to hit around 25% Fats with rest in carbs, usually around 50-50%. Find what works best for you, but don't drop carbs too low or your training may suffer. 🌰 As always I recommend focusing on wholefoods first and minimally processed foods. Don’t worry about clearing the mind. Lots of people think meditation is about clearing your mind, or stopping all thoughts. It’s not. This can sometimes happen, but it’s not the “goal” of meditation. If you have thoughts, that’s normal. We all do. Our brains are thought factories, and we can’t just shut them down. Come back when you wander. Your mind will wander. This is an almost absolute certainty. There’s no problem with that. When you notice your mind wandering, smile, and simply gently return to your breath. Count “one” again, and start over.
