Drippy nose at bedtime? 👃 Nose spray is sooooo bad for you! Try this next time. I apply the oil neat over all of my sinus cavities. Along with a nose strip I'm usually able to sleep fairly well - bonus support when you diffuse blends such as RC or Raven. I'll keep the tea tree next to my bed in case I need to reapply during the night. ICYW: I also take a 2 oz shot of Ningxia Red with Elderberry Syrup, as well as a capsule of Thieves, thyme, lemon and sacred frankincense twice a day when I feel something coming on - and will continue, sometimes lessening to once a day, until I feel like the end is in sight. Not forgetting my Super C tablets, MightPro probiotic and an epsom salt bath with Purification, lemon and frankincense. ALL THE THINGS. I don’t know how I could have caught a cold as I’ve been in the house all week, but figured three teas will help, right?! Inspire black tea with cinnamon and peppermint (for decongesting), Almond Orange Biscotti rooibos for a little shot of vitamin C, along with passion orange grapefruit green tea mixed with OJ for more vitamin C. Anyone else learn this growing up? Put steaming water in a bowl with Vix Vapour rub, and putting your head over a bowl with a towel over it? Well I was recommended by a friend to do it with essential oil instead of Vix!! I like it so much better! And it gave me sinus pressure relief and unclogged my nose for awhile. Good morning lovebugs🐛... I don't know if my allergies/ sinuses are trying to get the best of me or if I'm tryna catch a cold. I’ve had a bit of a scratchy throat this morning, so I turned my scarf into my own personal diffuser!! . Dropped a few drops of Raven, a blend of peppermint, eucalyptus, lemon, and wintergreen, and have been smelling it throughout the day 🧣❤️

So the last 2 weeks have been a whirlwind of hustling in my dōTERRA business to achieve some big goals, and now that I have had a couple day to relax (somewhat) and reflect on what I’ve accomplished, I have been hit with a cold 😫 and not that I have time for a cold any other time being due with a baby any day now I really can afford to get sick, so I have this diffusing and applying my FLOOM roller to the bottoms of my feet. Anyone else love to cook cozy, comfort food when you are feeling like garbage?! I should probably have tried to sleep, or had someone else make dinner tonight... but nope... instead I made a fall casserole! My taste buds are pretty dull today, so I wasn't sure how well it would turn out... but I got lots of thumbs up and we all had seconds! I just want to say... inventor of the spiralizer... I love you. Makes things like slicing potatoes for gratins, and scalloped casseroles sooooo much easier!! So sliced sweet potatoes, Hillary's maple apple vegan breakfast sausage patties, chopped up and pan fried with a whole finely diced onion... also in this was a thawed bag of frozen chopped spinach squeezed out really well, a bag of frozen winter squash, thawed...a bit of leftover shredded vegan cheese, salt, pepper... herbs, spices... then I just layered everything! I put things on different layers in between 2 layers of the sweet potatoes... and topped it with a last layer of sweet potatoes. I made a quick 'sauce' using some leftover veggie stock and some Ripple brand half and half, seasoned it with some onion powder, poultry seasoning (oh I used that throughout the layers too, as well as some chopped fresh sage, and rosemary and a bit of fresh grated nutmeg) poured the sauce (it only came about 1/4 of the way up the dish) covered it and baked it at 375 F for just under an hour. As you can tell, I’m still trying to get organized after returning from my company’s Global Conference! I don’t know if it was the lack of sleep, all the people I was around, all of the amazing food I ate, my nerves from speaking on stage in front of a couple thousand people or the airplane, but I’m tired! And I have a scratchy throat. A tall glass of this brew and all that tiredness and throat business is a memory! Thankful.
