It is in these special moments that the magic happens. I love this so much @meg.boggs a wonderful reminder to slow down over the Easter weekend 💕
Lately, I’ve noticed these little moments that happen.
These little moments usually happen when they take a seat right on you, or next to you, or *specifically* where they want to be in relation to you for it to be just right.
They also usually happen when there are loads of laundry waiting to be folded on the couch. Usually when the microwave won’t stop beeping to alert you that your leftover lunch is ready, that you’ve already heated up three times today. And usually when you sit and breathe long enough to see the mess that is your house. You see your hairy legs and unwashed hair from the mirror across the room. You see the dog bones, two empty water bottles, and an inch of banana under the couch as you sit on your living room floor, and feel like you’re doing this all wrong. You internally make a list of everything you should be doing right now. Your mind begins to race about everything that needs to get done.
And just as you are about to get up, you glance down and see this.
And you’re reminded that what you need to be doing is right here in front of you, amongst the mess, and the beeping, and all the background noise, you’re reminded that you’re doing it just right.
