😢 2 semanas sem uma rotina de argolas dá nisso: fica difícil e com ruídos o movimento. . E sabe o que aprendi com tudo isso? Aprendi 2 lições que vou compartilhar com vc: 1.Que a vida é impermanente. Por mais que eu queira continuar minhas rotinas 100% , preciso entender que a rotina da vida é a IMPERMANÊNCIA. 80% da rotina concluída já é 100%. Por isso se esforce todos os dias a fazer o que precisa ser feito; . 2. Que a minha rotina MOVA realmente faz a diferença. Porque percebo que 3 dias sem ela sinto falta no meu corpo e na minha mente. Os resultados caem.🤔✌ isso é bom, sinal que não estou perdendo tempo com minhas escolhas. . There are many reasons as to why but to name a few: - Changing the load to the front side checks the whole body and tells you if something is off. - Shoulder girdle not ok? You will know. - Thoratic-midback tight? You will know. - Core not engaged? You will know. - Low back weak? The mixed grip, is it bad? The mixed grip is where one hand is pronated and the other supinated. It is used to prevent the bar from rolling out of the hands which can happen when heavier loads are used without sufficient grip strength. . The reasons argued as to why the mixed grip is bad is due to the excessive strain it puts on the bicep tendon of the supinated side and some argue it can cause an uneven rotation/twisting force. As long as the shoulders are set correctly and the lats are engaged I don’t believe the rotational force would be anything of significance. . So due to this I advise to use it on an “as needs” basis. Once you can no longer maintain a double over hand grip (due to load) then utilise it. Also switch sides for different sets so the strain isn’t continuously placed on the biceps tendon of one arm. Alternatively you can use straps but this takes out the grip strength component or if you’re a masochist can try hook grip (ain’t for the faint hearted). at Bondi, New South Wales, Australia

#MuscleMindConnection ⛓️ . I bought a trolley #TotalGym1000 a few weeks ago. I've used it only a few times as well as I've been thinking how to implement it in my trainings so it fits and helps well for other major goals. Honestly I've been struggling on knowing what movements to do with it, what volume, intensity etc... Which is dumb as fuck because I'll never know if i don't use it, explore it and play with it. Plus it's even dumber for me not to use it, as my main goal is just getting overall stronger. And by STRONGER i mean HEALTHIER. Not just moving more kilos. So here's my quick review on it : It's fucking awesome and everyone should use it. PERIOD. No matter the sport you do. -The ranges of motion you can work on are incredible (even tho it could still be better). -It allows you to perform movements with very good mechanics (IF you put the effort in!!) -The resistance can be adjusted and you can add weight for extra resistance. -It's of course a big advantage for #gymnastics skills as it allows you to work with a big volume, work skills with high reps & quality. Or with extra weight for strength. But still awesome for any other sport. -The body tension needed to perfom with good form is awesome (e.g the first clip). -Shoulder health 🥰 -Pre-hab, re-hab, active recovery, assitance work, mobility, hypertrophy, strength, resistance... Great for everything. (Obviously for upper body) . Videos are 2 snippets of 2 supersets. 1: SAS rotations (+10kg ankle weights and +10kg disc) 2: Upper back health (+10kg disc).

Fitness is for anyone and everyone and it is absolutely apart of a holistic lifestyle. I think it gets left out from time to time, but to be healed as a whole our body needs to know movement every day. Maybe not a ton everyday, but at least a little bit everyday. Are you making excuses for why you aren’t getting your movement in? Last night I had an age difference of about 50 years! I had a young lady in her early 20’s and a 72 year old woman.
