First ride on this bike wasn’t fun. It was all wet clay and general slop, absolutely pouring with rain, and all I wanted to do was not crash my new bike. I survived, but I didn’t enjoy it. ————————————————————————
I then spent my work week wondering if I really needed another pricey dirt bike, especially considering I have a capable bike with Jolene. The L can handle most of my trail riding, and it’s already set up to my needs, yet I still brought home a new Six Days. ————————————————————————
Enter this past Monday. After a quick suspension adjustment, and a tire swap I had one of my best days out riding the local trails. It was the complete opposite of my first ride, the bike impressed me with every mile. I was playing on the trails again, and now I can’t imagine my garage without either bike. A good friend wisely told me not to get discouraged if I didn’t enjoy the first ride getting to know the new bike, and it was 💯 the right thing to tell me. This XC-W is incredible, I can’t wait to push both of our limits.
