Ранним утром я отправился к руинам древненго храма Та Пром, что в сорока километрах к югу от Пном Пеня. На первый взгляд расстояние кажется небольшим, и это так, если вы отправляетесь в путь на машине. Но если вы решите сгонять туда на скутере, путешествие превратится для вас в настоящее испытание, испытание ваших нервов, скорости реакции и общей физической подготовки. Я стартовал из отеля в 7 часов утра, но на центральной магистрали Пном Пеня попал в жесточайшую камбоджийску пробку из мопедов, тук-туков, пассажирских автобусов и коптящих грузовиков. Должен отметить, что дорогих автомобилей в утренние часы-пик на дорогах немного. Видимо, их владельцы могут себе позволить поспать. Я вряд ли смогу описать словами то, что происходит на дорогах Пном Пеня, и всю гамму чувств, которые испытывает при этом иностанец, подобно мне, ставший участником этой движухи. Начать, пожалуй, нужно с того, что правила дорожного движения в Камбодже носят исключительно рекомендательный характер. Например, не рекомендуется проезжать на красный свет, пересекать двойную сплошную и ехать по встречке. На практике же все это и многое другое происходит повсеместно. Если тех, для кого горит красный, больше, тех, у кого зеленый, то едут те, у кого красный. Не везде и не всегда, конечно, но пару раз я такое наблюдал. Здесь почти нет регулируемых перекрестков. Главная магистраль имеет множество пересечений со второстепенными улицами. На этих перекрестках встречаются два автомобильных потока. Машины, автобусы и мопеды, двигаясь сантиметр за сантиметром, перегрождают друг другу путь в попытке пересечь дорожное полотно соперника. Поворачивать в любую сторону злесь можно из любого ряда. Пробка начинает рассасываться и я прибавляю газа, выкручивая правую рукоятку руля до предела. С какой скоростью я лечу? Why do Buddhist monks wear different colored type of robes? The basic clothing that Lord Buddha originally suggested for a bhikku was made from discarded cloth (rags) sewn together and dyed After sewing the pieces together, they were just large rectangular pieces of cloth worn wraparound style. In the beginning, it seems that there were two robes: a sarong skirt-like robe (antaravaasaka) tied with a belt, and a robe to cover the upper part of the body (uttaraasa'nga). When the cold weather required more protection, the Buddha allowed a third robe, which was a double-thickness outer robe (sa'nghaati). For most Buddhist schools, including those whose monks wear red robes, there is no special significance to this color. Originally monks dressed in ochre/saffron/yellowish robes, but there were some variations as the actual shade depends on the pigment used. As Buddhism spread to different regions of the world, pigments extracted from local products were used to dye the robes, producing different hues towards the maroon, brownish or plain red. Some suggest that the bright yellow or orange-colored robes are usually worn by monks living in monasteries situated in villages, towns and cities. The darker colored robes are usually worn by monks from forest monasteries. Others believe that brown robes can eat only once per day, orange/saffron robes eat twice a day and the maroon (Myanmar) robes can eat whenever they want. Was lucky to witness the great annual festival or tshechu which was held at Rinpung Dzong end of March 2018. On this occasion, holy images are taken in a procession. This is followed by a series of traditional mask dances conveying #religious stories which are performed by #monks for several days. The focal point of the tshechus (day ten) are Cham dances.
