LET'S TALK ABOUT SELF-LOVE ❤
What does self-love mean to you? Do you see it as a way to be grateful for who you are? Do you see it as a way to nurture your body? Do you see it as a chance to feed your mind with positive energy? To celebrate being alive and blessed? OR do you see it as a being selfish?
If you see it as being selfish. Please stop! There is nothing selfish about taking care of yourself, loving yourself or being proud of who you are. Yet many people do see it as a selfish gesture. Not always on a conscious level. But on an unconscious level, they do. It's visible, visible in their behaviors towards themselves.
If you are unsure about the love you feel towards yourself...ask yourself the following questions. ❇
✧ see alone time as being asocial?
✧ feel drained after helping others but feel like you have no right to complain?
✧ always say 'yes' when you actually want to say no?
✧ feel weird if you would tell others or yourself, how much you love yourself and how proud you are on your skills and talents?
✧ always notice your flaws before your strengths?
✧ prioritize everything before your own self-care or me-time?
✧ feel like you deserve punishment, hurt, disrespect?
✧ always see yourself as second best, less beautiful, less talented,...
Then it's the time to get that self-love BACK into your life. Self-love isn't selfish! For a matter of fact, it will not only make you feel better, but it will also better the lives of everyone who can feel your positive energy. And really! YOU ARE SO WORTHY of that love. You deserve every piece of it. You are worthy and allowed to be yourself. To act totally like YOU. You are allowed to say NO. You are so allowed to take some me-time. Take 2 days, 3, even a week! Listen to your intuition and trust it. Reload that energy and grow closer with the core of who you are. Get to know yourself, befriend yourself and accept yourself as your life-long partner in crime. ➺
How often do you tell yourself: I LOVE YOU? 💕
Always?: Perfect! You deserve that love!
Never?: I challenge you to say it out loud, every morning, for at least a month! Starting the next upcoming morning! Believe me, that inner love will grow. at De Gavers Provinciaal Domein
