||An Unfinished Summertime Story|| He reminded me of a summertime story that I
Never got the opportunity to finish.
It's not that my mind wasn't right,
Just Time never permitted me
To stay till the story finished.
Our story, it kicked like a random but everything just smelt of the classics,
It was not that he ran through my mind in random times, he made a pretty little house in the valleys of my mind,
To stay permanent.
But when the time came, LIFE showed us that it wasn't fair,
Not even in a dream because
The "He" who stayed in my mind
Was just so hard to believe in
With that mighty elegance of his spirit.
It will be wrong of me to not confess
But I heard a blurred voice,
Maybe t'was a thought
But I ignored
Because I didn't want to hear. "He has a woman!" This was a phrase I couldn't understand
Or maybe, I just didn't want to understand.
Though I hadn't known him,
This was not like the story
My mind had planned.
I knew he felt what I did in every minute
We couldn't leave each other's side
Without that breathless moment,
Unforeseen, I want to believe,
But the end came when the truth
Decided to knock our doors,
Or you can say, that call.....
He still lives in that house,
In the deep valleys of my mind.
It's just me who is still lost in the forest.
And that's the way,
I was picked from the summer
And thrown to the arms of the winter.
I still long to hear the ending,
Of us, the summertime story,
Wanting to know what could have happened
between him and me. -The Screeching Silence
