Unfortunately for the right, the rally had a less than disappointing turnout. 30 people showed up to the event. For perspective, that’s less than a third the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
When asked about the low turnout, rally organizer Jason Kessler released thisstatement EXCLUSIVELY to the Daily Bunghole (srsly guyzzz…) :
-“You know what it might be, and call me crazy. But it might be all the Nazi flags… can’t quite put my finger on it, though.” *AUTHOR’S NOTE: For context, the car wash scene from DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story consists of the cast of the movie attempting to raise money to save Vince Vaughn’s gym. The car wash is a total failure and the only person who shows up is a creepy redneck watching Justin Long scrub his tires. Now that you can visualize and perhaps feel the awkwardness of such a scene, apply that to this rally. Like the car wash scene from DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story, it was a plane crashing into a trainwreck, plus a few Nazi’s.
