It's Reusable Nappy Week! (You might also see "Real" Nappy Week around but I prefer the word reusable.) Do you choose to make laundry, or landfill? Here at Purple Lane we try to keep our landfill waste to a minimum - reducing, reusing, repurposing, recycling where we can, and not choosing single use plastic items if at all possible. Nappies have played a big part in this with four children, and as well as the environmental side they've saved us a lot of money. It was my interest in reusable nappies that got me in to using other reusables, like wet bags, wipes, pads etc.
I believe that every small change we as individuals make, such as using just one or two reusable nappies a day or just switching to reusable wipes, all adds up. As Anne Marie Bonneau said: "We don't need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly". Reusable nappies aren't everyone's choice for various reasons, but there are lots of ways we can all make a difference.
So, as a celebration of all things reusable this week, SDPL is offering 10% off all in stock reusables until the end of Sunday 28th April. No code necessary, offer is already applied to items included in the offer. While stocks last. at Birmingham, United Kingdom
